He was once connected to the Clear Sky Sect through the four affiliated clans: Strength, Agility, Defense, and Breaking. Yang Wudi remained with Dai Mobai and Li Yue in Heaven Dou City. During Yu Tianheng's attempt to force his way into Dugu Yan's room, Yang Wudi initially intended to act but chose not to intervene after judging that Yu Tianheng posed no threat to Li Yue. 147

Battle with Dugu Bo

When Dugu Bo attacked Dai Mobai with poison-mist snakes in Heaven Dou City, Yang Wudi destroyed the attack with the Soulbreaking Spear and followed Dai Mobai outside the city to avoid damaging the populace. 151

Yang Wudi confronted the Poison Douluo with his seventh Soul Skill and the black-flamed Soulbreaking Spear.
