Background / History

The Imperial Auspicious Beast originated in the Star Dou Great Forest as a five-thousand-year-old Three-Eyed Golden Lion. As the forest's vessel of destiny, her presence doubles local Soul Beasts' cultivation speed and doubles the chance for Ten Thousand Year Soul Beasts to overcome bottlenecks. Red King was assigned as her guardian, while Emperor Heaven and the other fierce beasts regarded her disappearance as a crisis for the entire forest. 31 35

While playing hide-and-seek with Red King, she concealed her aura with the Power of Destiny and left to investigate the Dragon King pressure produced by Liu Erlong and Jiang Ce. Her destiny sense drew her to Jiang Ce's symbiote, warning that contact with it would benefit her and avert a future tragedy. 30 31

After touching Jiang Ce's tentacle, she witnessed visions of numerous other worlds. Fascinated by their scale and variety, she chose to accompany Liu Erlong's group to Heaven Dou City in exchange for being allowed to see more. 30

Emperor Heaven and Zi Ji attempted to return her to the forest, but she refused, openly stating that she wanted to experience the human world. She protected Jiang Ce's group from Zi Ji and accepted the symbiote after discovering that it strengthened her Power of Destiny fivefold. 32
