Background / History

Tang Hao lived in obscurity while raising Tang San, appearing as an unshaven middle-aged man in tattered clothing. Although Tang San commonly cared for him rather than the reverse, Tang Hao secretly monitored his son's development. 5

He is connected to A Yin, a hundred-thousand-year spirit beast in human form whose death remains a source of grief and vengeance for him. Zhu Shen warns Tang Hao that Tang San may pursue revenge after learning his heritage, and argues that the Evil God Temple—not Spirit Hall as a whole—may be the true force behind past events. Tang Hao ultimately accepts this possibility and agrees that Tang San should not be consumed by hatred. 7

Entrusting Tang San's Cultivation

Tang Hao reveals himself to Tang San and Zhu Shen, observes Tang San's new spirit skills and Lone Bamboo spirit bones, then agrees to fund and support Zhu Shen's cultivation plan. 5

After questioning Zhu Shen's transformation and knowledge of A Yin's history, Tang Hao accepts Zhu Shen's promise to guide Tang San without allowing revenge to consume him. He then departs, leaving Tang San under Zhu Shen's care. 7

Evil God Temple Ritual

After learning of the Evil God Temple's child-sacrifice ritual, Tang Hao answers Zhu Shen's call for aid. He arrives at the altar, protects the captive children, destroys an Evil God Temple projection, and battles Blood Shadow. 19

Tang Hao holds Blood Shadow off with his Ninth Soul Skill while Zhu Shen destroys the ritual orb. Once Blood Shadow is weakened, Tang Hao defeats him, then chooses to investigate the Evil God Temple further and deal with Su Nuo. 20
