Background

Lan Tianhua is the leading descendant of Morin Heaven Gate, one of the six gates within the Star Dragon Sanctuary’s Dragon Martial Clan. Before the Sky Screen revealed her ranking, she was more interested in the Cyan Dragon Pearl from her clan treasury than in the Heavenly Pride Ranking itself. 24

Her past was shown through an expedition to Beast Summoning Mountain with Bainuo. Despite Bainuo’s warning that the area felt wrong, Tianhua advanced confidently and was drawn into the Ghost Illusion Realm, where the sixty-thousand-year Witch Ghost Dragon had separated Bainuo from her. Tianhua demanded Bainuo’s return and invoked the Dragon Martial Clan’s protection rather than submit. 29 30

Tianhua ultimately unleashed a Life Storm that dispersed the Ghost Illusion Realm’s mist, restored its withered vegetation and riverbeds, and annihilated the Witch Ghost Dragon’s avatar. Her feat demonstrated life force concentrated to an extraordinary degree and even inspired the Medicine Immortal Douluo Wang Xian’er to break through a long-standing cultivation barrier. 31
