Dongfang Mo is the Lone Fight Star Gate's foremost disciple and a twin martial soul wielder specializing in Ultimate Metal and close-quarters slaughter. The gate's creed teaches its disciples to fear nothing and stand upright even when alone; Dongfang interpreted this harshly, believing that only the strong deserved to survive. 58 59

During the Beast Summoning Mountain trial, a dragon-type soul beast held one of his fellow disciples hostage. Dongfang refused to yield, telling the captive disciple to face death without fear before killing the beast in a single strike. His lack of grief for the fallen disciple drew widespread condemnation and even angered his master, Hawkins, who considered Dongfang's interpretation of the gate's creed distorted. 58 59
