Background / History

The Abyssal Sage King is the sole monarch of the Abyss Plane, a god-level entity nurtured by that plane and its true master. He rules through the Abyss Kings and Emperors, believing their hierarchy to be incapable of betrayal because their races remain bound to the Abyss Plane’s origin. He regards himself as the Abyss Plane’s only rightful god-level powerhouse and refuses to allow any subordinate to fully reach godhood. 244 439 521

For thousands of years, he directed the Abyss Plane’s conflict with the Douluo Plane. After the wandering Abyss Plane was drawn to the exposed Douluo Plane, he began preparing to consume it, initially avoiding direct intervention because of the possibility of hidden gods.
