Background

The Devil Emperor was one of the Abyss Ten Emperors and had already pushed his physical body to the god level. Alongside the Spirit Emperor and Fierce Emperor, he was regarded as one of the Abyss's strongest combatants. 181 438 665

Before the full invasion, the Abyss Sage Monarch summoned the three emperors and granted each a drop of essence blood to support a breakthrough. The blood contained a hidden strand of the Sage Monarch's divine sense, allowing him to monitor them and reclaim their vitality after death. 546

The Sage Monarch later dispatched the Devil Emperor, Spirit Emperor, and Fierce Emperor to lead the next invasion of the Douluo Plane, intending for the ensuing deaths to fully charge the Blood River God-Slaying Array. 665

Personality

The Devil Emperor initially carried himself with the arrogance expected of an Abyss Emperor, dismissing the danger posed by the Douluo Plane and declaring that humiliating an Abyss Emperor would bring destruction. 681

His composure collapsed after Mu Ye overwhelmed him with a Mecha and Four-Word Battle Armor integration. Faced with death, he fled in terror, revealing a powerful fear of dying despite his status. 680 681

The Devil Emperor was among the three principal emperors selected by the Abyss Sage Monarch to lead the Abyss Plane's offensive against the Douluo Plane. He received the Sage Monarch's essence blood, unaware that it also enabled surveillance and eventual reclamation of his vitality. 546

Final Invasion and Battle with Mu Ye

He arrived at the Federation's defensive line alongside the Spirit Emperor and Fierce Emperor. Mu Ye confronted him directly, eventually gaining a decisive advantage by merging with his Mecha and highest-grade Four-Word Battle Armor. 673 680

Death

Badly wounded and panicked, the Devil Emperor attempted to flee. Although the Spirit Emperor delayed Mu Ye's attack to save him, the Devil Emperor was outside the Blood River God-Slaying Array's protection and was crushed by the pressure of the entire Douluo Plane. His death supplied power to the Demon Empress and contributed to the Abyss Plane's losses. 681 682
