Background / History

Raccoon City and S.T.A.R.S.

Chris was a S.T.A.R.S. Alpha Team operative under Captain Albert Wesker. When Wesker disappeared, Chris temporarily assumed command of Alpha Team and openly rejected Chief Irons's claim that Wesker was a traitor, revealing his loyalty and incomplete understanding of Wesker's true nature. 10

At the time, Chris had a standard build and a comparatively youthful appearance. Sui Bian's System identified him as an anomaly, making him one of the special personnel Sui intended to recruit from the Raccoon City Police Department. 10

Following the Arklay Mountains clearing operation, Chris led the S.T.A.R.S. members in signing Umbrella's contracts and non-disclosure agreements. He later helped rally the team to confront future anomalous threats. 19 20

Charon Task Force

Chris tested the NEST-Exoskeleton-1 during Umbrella's equipment demonstration. Its enhancement allowed him to make a near-five-meter standing jump and land without significant impact. 21

After Charon's training under Hunk and Alpha Team, Chris achieved the highest comprehensive-test score. Enrico Marini became captain, while Chris was appointed vice-captain. 21

Antarctic Pyramid Incident

Chris led a temporary task force of twenty-four D-Class personnel into a Yautja pyramid beneath the Antarctic ice. He maintained order despite their distrust, assigned search and security duties, and ensured the team kept their chest cameras active for fleet oversight. 45 46

The task force was trapped when the pyramid shifted. Chris endured attacks by Yautja and Xenomorphs, becoming the task force's sole survivor. He recovered equipment from the dead Yautja Chopper and relayed his findings to Umbrella. 48 49

Chris dueled Celtic, a newly matured Yautja, defeated him with the assistance of his exoskeleton, then saved him from a Xenomorph ambush. The two subsequently cooperated to escape the pyramid and eliminate the Xenomorph Queen. 50 51

Celtic marked Chris's left cheek with a scar using Xenomorph blood, formally recognizing him as a respected fellow warrior before the watching Yautja clan. 52

Later Umbrella Service

Chris participated in Umbrella's covert White House operation, entering disguised as a Secret Service agent alongside Jill and Charon personnel to oversee President Graham's brainwashing procedure. 149

After the Charon Task Force was disbanded, Chris declined administrative retirement and transferred to the Raven Legion. He became commander-in-chief of its Auxilia and Corax's principal deputy. 240

More than a century after his transfer, Chris held the rank of general and commanded Raven Legion Auxilia forces during the war against the Orks. Corax regarded him as both a trusted deputy and a mentor-like friend. 344

Chris's appearance changed markedly over his career. As a S.T.A.R.S. officer, he had a standard build, a pompadour hairstyle, dark green combat trousers, and a white S.T.A.R.S.-emblem shirt.
