The main hall at the sect gates,
Inside Seven Absolutes Hall, cast from dark iron, a sinister, icy aura permeated the air, giving everyone who entered the biting sensation of standing in the depths of winter.
Led by a servant, Wan Zunli
Stepped into the dim interior of the great hall, his clear footsteps echoing through it.
All around him, thick pillars stood in orderly rows, dozens of yards apart, supporting the vaulted ceiling. Black-patterned stone dragons coiled around them, seemingly breathing demonic qi, swallowing the faint light until only scattered pinpricks remained.
At the end of the aisle,
A raised platform carved from cold jade stood imposing and stark.
Atop it, a broad black chair sat squarely in the center. Seven skulls were carved into its back, their eye sockets set with blood-red crystals. All stared down the aisle below, casting scarlet light that exerted a chilling pressure!
Wan Zunli approached the foot of the platform,
And felt one icy gaze after another converge on him,
Until even his breathing grew labored.

The slightly careless words came from the figure seated on the skull chair atop the platform.
He looked like a young man in his twenties or thirties.
He reclined against the chair, wearing a black robe trimmed with gold. Its hem hung down to the edge of the platform, swaying gently with his slightest movements.
