Personality

Tang San is protective of his companions in battle, immediately attempting to save Dai Mubai, Ma Hongjun, Zhu Zhuqing, and Xiao Wu when Shui Bing'er uses Ice Seal. He also remains fiercely devoted to Yu Xiao Gang and Liu Erlong, swearing to avenge Yu Xiao Gang and being devastated by Liu Erlong's death. 20 27 37

His defeats turn that loyalty into an obsessive pursuit of revenge. He repeatedly threatens Shui Bing'er, publicly prepares to kill her during the Blue Tyrant Academy match, and relies on concealed weapons despite condemning her when those weapons rebound and kill Tailong. 33 39 40

After his Martial Soul is crippled, he becomes fearful of abandonment and begs Xiao Wu not to leave him behind. Xiao Wu's sacrifice restores his confidence, though he immediately directs his renewed strength toward revenge against Shui Bing'er. 41

Great Soul Arena Defeat

Tang San faces Shui Bing'er as part of the Shrek Team. He recognizes the danger of her Ice Seal and tries to rescue his frozen teammates, but is held back while Yu Hairou sends him out of the arena with Frost Soul Palm. 20 21

Flight from the Heavenly Water Maidens

After Shrek's retaliation fails and Tang Hao is killed, Tang San flees alongside Yu Xiao Gang. He uses Spider Web Restraint and Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to escape, but Yu Xiao Gang is killed during the pursuit. The Asura God then descends to protect Tang San as a potential successor. 27

Although Meng Chen later defeats the Asura God, Tang San escapes the confrontation and eventually reveals Yu Xiao Gang's death to Liu Erlong. 28 32

Revenge Against Shui Bing'er

Tang San confronts Shui Bing'er in Heaven Dou City after learning that Meng Chen is in a slumber. Emboldened by the Asura God's prior intervention, he threatens revenge, but becomes terrified after Shui Bing'er decisively defeats Liu Erlong. 33 35

During the Blue Tyrant Academy match, he attempts to assassinate Shui Bing'er with hidden weapons. Her Repelling Ice Ring returns the attack toward Tailong, killing him, and Shui Bing'er cripples Tang San's Martial Soul. 39 40

Xiao Wu's Sacrifice and Death

While fleeing Heaven Dou City, Tang San fears Xiao Wu will abandon him because he has lost his Martial Soul. Instead, Xiao Wu sacrifices herself, becoming part of his restored Martial Soul and giving him Invincible Golden Body and Teleportation. 41

Tang San attempts to intimidate Shui Bing'er with a false threat of Guanyin's Tear, then teleports away. Shui Bing'er catches him with Emperor Sword—Ice Extreme Unrivaled, freezing and killing him mid-flight. 42
