Once everything had settled down, Bulma stepped forward, intending to use the Namekian Dragon Balls to continue making wishes.
"Everyone, I'll have to trouble you with what comes next."
The Namekian Dragon Balls required the Namekian language to make a wish, so they needed a Namekian to assist them.
"Dende, why don't you make the wish?"
"Yes, of course!"
Under the Grand Elder's instruction, Dende stepped forward, ready to make the wish.
"Wait."
Just as they were about to summon the eternal dragon, Master Roshi stepped out.
"According to Gamos's plan, we need to resurrect two Earth warriors into these two bodies. I think it would be better to have Gamos come back; if something goes wrong, he's the only one who can keep things under control."
Master Roshi pointed at the two corpses of the Dark Ones on the ground, speaking with a hint of worry.
The combat power of these two bodies was far too high; they couldn't afford even the slightest mistake.
As Son Goku's master, Master Roshi was happy that his student had become so powerful, but the thought of such a formidable body being stolen by someone else filled his heart with sorrow.
Bulma felt that he made a valid point, but the man had already left Earth; could he really make it back in such a short time?
On Yardrat, Gamos was currently sitting cross-legged, meditating while hovering in mid-air.
He suddenly heard the voice of King Kai through the black receiver and opened his eyes.
"Your plan is about to be set in motion. The Dragon Balls on Earth are ready. Do you intend to come back for the wish?"
Hearing King Kai's question, Gamos naturally intended to return.
To be honest, in his past life, Gamos had only ever seen the eternal dragon on television. Now that he had a chance to meet it in person, he certainly wanted to take a look.
After all, who didn't want to make a wish when they were young?
"I'll be back immediately. Give me a few minutes."
After saying this, Gamos flashed and vanished from the spot.
When he reappeared, he saw three people in the middle of an intense fight.
"Gohan, keep it up!"
As a father, Son Goku had just offered his son a word of encouragement before landing a heavy punch—truly, a father's love is as heavy as a mountain.
Gamos stepped forward and immediately called for the three to stop.
"Our plan is about to begin. The eternal dragon on Earth is ready. Do you want to go back and see it?"
The three exchanged glances and all agreed to return.
To prevent the three from getting lost due to their half-baked Instant Transmission, Gamos had them place their hands on his shoulders.
Gamos placed two fingers against his forehead, and the scenery around them shifted; in an instant, the four of them were back on Earth.
"Wow! We really made it back. Gamos, you're truly amazing. I wouldn't have been able to perform an Instant Transmission over such a long distance."
Gamos simply smiled and immediately ran to the site where the wish was to be made.
"Bulma, I'm back."
"Since everyone is here, let's begin."
Under the expectant gazes of everyone present, Dende raised his hands toward the Dragon Balls and began to chant the incantation.
Dark clouds gathered in the sky, and a green figure soared upward; Porunga had manifested.
"State your wishes. I can grant you three, no matter what they are."
Dende looked at Gamos, and Gamos stepped forward.
He then pointed a hand toward the stasis pod containing the corpse of the Dark Son Goku.
"Please resurrect Krillin into this body."
Dende immediately translated his wish into the Namekian language.
The eternal dragon's eyes flashed, and it made an "OK" gesture.
"Simple."
A white light flashed over the body of the Dark Son Goku that had been sleeping in the stasis pod. The gaping hole that had pierced through the corpse vanished, leaving not even a single scar behind.
"Huh? Did I come back to life?"
Bulma hurried forward to open the pod door. Krillin sat up, feeling as though something was strange.
"I remember being killed by Frieza."
Krillin looked up and saw the towering figure of Porunga.
"It's the eternal dragon! So, I've been resurrected."
The resurrected Krillin laughed heartily, overjoyed, completely unaware that he had been placed into a different body.
Gamos didn't pay him any mind and immediately proceeded to make the second wish.
"Resurrect Yamcha into this body."
On King Kai's Planet, Yamcha, with a halo hovering above his head, was brimming with excitement. Although he was about to lose his own body, he didn't feel a shred of sadness.
After all, the new body Gamos had prepared for him was that of the future Vegeta, possessing the combat power of Super Saiyan Blue—which was equivalent to a Super Saiyan 4. Who wouldn't be tempted by that?
"Everyone, I'm heading off now."
Yamcha bid a cheerful farewell to the group and vanished before their eyes.
When he woke up again, the hatch opened, and a Yamcha with Vegeta's face emerged.
The first thing Yamcha did upon waking was touch his face and feel that spiky hairstyle; it was truly the body of the future Vegeta.
"Ah! Why have I turned into Son Goku?"
At that moment, Krillin, standing nearby, finally snapped out of his shock. The body he had been resurrected into wasn't his own, but that of his best friend.
"What is going on here?"
Krillin looked utterly incredulous, pointing a finger at his own nose as he asked.
Bulma's mouth twitched; this was truly difficult to explain.
Yamcha had been on King Kai's Planet, so he was aware of the plan and had given his consent.
However, Krillin had been killed by Frieza on Namek and was not on King Kai's Planet, so he had been kept in the dark.
Swapping someone's body without their permission was, admittedly, a bit underhanded.
Master Roshi also approached Krillin, looking him up and down. He seemed quite satisfied with this fellow who was a combination of his two disciples.
"I'll explain it to you in a moment."
Leaving that behind, Bulma told Gamos to continue making wishes.
"Next, let's resurrect the Vegeta of this timeline!"
"But Vegeta died on Namek. Even if he is resurrected, he would just reappear where he died. King Kai said Namek has already been destroyed, so if he's brought back, he'll just die in the same spot again."
Gamos rubbed his chin in thought before speaking up.
"Then have Vegeta resurrected right in front of me."
Upon hearing his words, everyone's eyes lit up; that was a clever solution.
Only Shenron, hovering in the sky, felt a vein throb on his forehead. You brat, are you trying to fleece me?
Regardless, the customer is king. After Dende stated the wish, Shenron had no choice but to begrudgingly agree.
"Your wish has been granted. Farewell."
A figure appeared before the group—none other than the deceased Vegeta.
"I... I've actually been resurrected. Where is this?"
Vegeta looked around in disbelief, stunned that he had been brought back to life in this place.
As he looked up, he saw Shenron preparing to depart, and Vegeta immediately realized that someone must have used the Dragon Balls to bring him back.
Vegeta turned around, intending to see who had resurrected him, only to be met with a sight so shocking it left him terrified.
There stood a Son Goku dressed in black, and beside him, a Vegeta also dressed in black—his own self.
"Who, who are you? How dare you impersonate me!"
Vegeta clenched his fists, staring at the impostor before him, unable to resist stepping forward to land a punch.
Yamcha, now in the body of the future Vegeta, felt a subconscious surge of fear as he saw Vegeta approaching. He had been killed by this man and his allies, after all.
"Get away!"
In his panic, Yamcha instinctively threw a palm strike, and a terrifying energy wave was instantly unleashed.
At that very moment, the newly resurrected Vegeta felt the breath of death once again.
"Watch out!"
Gamos flashed in front of Vegeta and used a hand chop to deflect the incoming energy blast into the sky.
A deafening explosion followed, the terrifying energy shockwave detonating like a nuclear bomb in the sky, causing everyone within a hundred miles to look up.
Vegeta, stunned out of his wits, plopped onto the ground. He never imagined that the impostor before him could be this powerful; it was truly horrifying.
"Vegeta, are you alright?"
Gamos reached out a hand to help him up. He had always been fond of this eternal runner-up.
When we are young, everyone loves Son Goku, but as we grow older, we all end up living like Vegeta—no matter how hard we try, we can never be the best. That is the tragedy of so many people.
Because of this, Vegeta was a character who resonated deeply with everyone.
The once arrogant Prince Vegeta, having witnessed the other man's strength, dared not be haughty. He took the hand and stood up.
"I, I'm sorry!"
A guilty Yamcha quickly apologized. He had almost killed the newly resurrected Vegeta with his own hands.
But then again, this body was truly incredible. The original Vegeta had been so proud and reckless on Earth, yet now, Yamcha could kill him with a casual strike. This feeling was simply too good.
"How can there be two Vegetas?"
Krillin, who had transformed into Son Goku, was deeply confused.
"Krillin! Haha!"
Seeing his friend resurrected, Son Goku was overjoyed.
Krillin turned around and saw his good brother, Son Goku, standing right behind him.
"Huh? Goku, you're still Goku, so what's going on with me?"
"Uncle Krillin."
Son Gohan ran forward, intending to hug him, but seeing the man wearing his father's face, he suddenly felt incredibly awkward.
"Alright, alright! Since Vegeta and Krillin don't know about our upcoming plans or our future enemies yet, let's go over it again!"
At this moment, Vegeta had not yet been redeemed, so he naturally remained arrogant and unruly, acting as if he were the second most important person in the universe, right after heaven.
However, out of curiosity about the matter, Vegeta still obediently leaned in.
As the group gathered together, Gamos explained the general situation of the future once more.
Even though it was the second time hearing this, everyone still couldn't help but feel shocked.
Especially Vegeta and Krillin, who were both hearing this for the first time and were even more astonished.
"The two Zamasus who came to this world have been gone for nearly a year. If there are more Dark Ones, I believe they will soon realize something is wrong on their end. In the future, we may have to face even more Dark Ones."
"Therefore, to withstand their attacks, we must have at least several Super Saiyan 4 level combatants."
When it came to this point, the first one who couldn't sit still was Vegeta.
With a loud bang, he slammed his hand onto the table, causing the entire thing to shatter into pieces.
"Bastard! That means the body this guy is using is my future body!"
Vegeta pointed at Yamcha, who had transformed into Future Vegeta, and said indignantly.
Although hearing that he would become very strong in the future made him happy, looking at the guy in front of him who had directly taken over his future body and possessed the strength to kill him in seconds, he felt frustrated no matter how he thought about it.
