A year passed, and Gamos sat cross-legged, floating in the air. Sitting opposite him was King Piccolo.
The two were meditating together, honing their spiritual power and improving their control over their strength.
Gamos, who had been calm, suddenly felt the ring on his finger flicker and quickly opened his eyes.
"It's here!"
Noticing Gamos's reaction, King Piccolo also opened his eyes instantly.
"What is it?"
"I sense a fluctuation in space-time. Someone must have arrived in this timeline. However, the landing point doesn't seem to be Earth."
Just then, three figures flashed into existence—they were none other than three other versions of Gamos.
This was the technique Gamos had learned from Tien Shinhan: the Multi-Form Technique.
He had split himself into four, each one a true body possessing a quarter of his original power.
Gamos had sent the three clones out: one to learn technology from Bulma, one to master all the skills on Earth, and another to train normally, while he himself focused on cultivating his spiritual power through meditation.
The three clones returned via Instant Transmission and immediately merged back into his main body.
Gamos's energy surged, quadrupling in an instant. Once the clones had returned, he quickly suppressed his aura again.
"Is it the Zamasu you mentioned? Should we call out Son Goku and the others?"
Gamos shook his head. Unless Krillin and Yamcha had fully adapted to their bodies and could exert one hundred percent of their combat power, they wouldn't be of any help.
"They are still too weak. Perhaps we need some help."
"Help?"
King Piccolo frowned. Weren't they the strongest group in this universe? Where else would they find help?
Gamos uttered a name that made King Piccolo's expression change.
"Frieza!"
"Frieza has immense potential. If things truly come to that, releasing him is the best solution."
Throwing that guy into the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for half a year to achieve a perfect Golden Form, followed by ten years for a Black Gold Form—by then, these Zamasus would be nothing to fear. The only drawback was that he was difficult to control.
"Is that guy really as formidable as you say?"
"Of course. Although Frieza was defeated, you must remember that from the moment he was born until now, he has never undergone any training."
As they spoke, Gamos immediately used his ability, wanting to see whose body the Dark One who had arrived this time was using.
This was a technique he had learned from King Kai: Antenna View.
Gamos closed his eyes, and King Piccolo placed a hand on his shoulder to view it with him.
In the endless starry sky of the universe, a large purple cat stared angrily at two figures before him.
Standing beside him was a blue-skinned woman with a ponytail, holding a scepter.
Opposite them stood a blue-skinned bald man, and beside him was a woman who looked quite wild.
Seeing the four of them in a standoff, Gamos's eyes nearly popped out of his head.
It was Champa, the God of Destruction of Universe 6, and his attendant, the angel Vados.
The two people standing opposite them were filled with an evil aura; they were undoubtedly the two Dark Ones who had arrived here.
Gamos recognized the bodies the Dark Ones were using: one was the assassin Hit from Universe 6, and the other was the fused warrior Kefla, the fusion of Kale and Caulifla.
"Where did you guys come from? I was just eating, and you blew up the planet! It makes me so mad!"
Champa was stomping his feet in rage. Among the twelve Gods of Destruction, Champa could be considered the best-tempered; while he was decisive, he didn't slaughter the innocent without reason.
Of course, he would occasionally destroy a planet for no reason, and if you happened to be on that planet, you could only blame your bad luck.
Just a moment ago, Champa had been enjoying his meal when an energy ball fell from the sky, instantly turning the entire planet to dust.
As a God of Destruction, when had he ever suffered such provocation? It was unforgivable, which led to this scene.
"Champa, as the God of Destruction of Universe 6, why aren't you staying in your own universe instead of running over here?"
The two were also shocked. They had just arrived in this timeline and discovered that the auras of the Dark Son Goku and Dark Vegeta who had traveled here had vanished. They were in a foul mood, so they had destroyed a planet on a whim.
Who would have thought they would be so unlucky as to blow up a God of Destruction with a casual strike? Their luck was truly something else.
Fortunately, the God of Destruction they had unearthed was the one from Universe 6, who had snuck in to sample food and was the weakest among the twelve.
If it had been Beerus, the God of Destruction of this universe, things wouldn't have been so easy to talk through. Beerus was the strongest and most brutal of the twelve; by comparison, Champa was much easier to deal with.
Hearing that the other party knew him and knew he was the God of Destruction of Universe 6, Champa couldn't help but feel a bit guilty. If Beerus found out he had snuck in to eat, it would be quite troublesome.
However, he quickly snapped out of it. What were these two people? Even if he were caught, that was a matter between two Gods of Destruction; what did it have to do with these two ants?
"To know I am a God of Destruction and still be so disrespectful—you are truly courting death."
Champa, nearly bursting with rage, manifested Destruction energy in his hands, intending to annihilate the two before him.
Seeing the opponent use Destruction energy directly, the two didn't dare to be careless. They immediately prepared to use the Time Ring to flee again!
Although these bodies were strong, they hadn't fully adapted and could only exert at most fifty percent of their power. They knew that even at fifty percent, let alone two hundred percent, they could not survive under Destruction energy.
Unless they could break through their own limits and reach a higher realm.
The two exchanged a glance, and Dark Hit immediately intended to use Time Skip to freeze time before using the Time Ring to escape.
Gamos, who had been watching from the sidelines, was overjoyed to see that things had progressed to this point so fortunately.
As a transmigrator, he naturally knew how easy Champa was to fool.
He was obsessed with gourmet food and rather simple-minded; as long as one didn't provoke him, he was quite easy to talk to.
Moreover, Champa had not yet realized that the two fellows before him did not belong to this world at all.
Having made up his mind, Gamos brushed the hand resting on his shoulder away and immediately used Instant Transmission to leave the scene.
"Damn it!"
Champa hurled two spheres of Destruction energy, intending to completely annihilate the two ants before him, but he never expected that the moment he launched his attack, time would stop, and everything around him would be frozen in place.
Dark Hit intended to take Dark Kefla and leave immediately, but a figure suddenly appeared.
Wearing the Time Ring, Gamos was naturally unaffected by the time stop. The Time Ring could manipulate time and even isolate the causality between gods, making it incredibly easy for Gamos to keep his own time from being controlled.
"Evil Containment Wave!"
Appearing in the cosmos, Gamos casually tossed out two bottles and directly unleashed the ultimate seal, instantly staining the surrounding space a deep emerald green.
The green vortex swirled continuously, and Dark Hit, who had intended to flee, felt as if his body were no longer under his control, spinning along with the sudden, overwhelming gravitational pull.
"What is going on?"
Dark Hit was shocked; he had been subdued in an instant. He tried to resist, but found he couldn't muster any strength, bound by an unknown force.
"Get in there!"
Gamos exerted a sudden burst of force, and Dark Hit was pulled into one of the bottles without any resistance.
The lid of the bottle was inscribed with a spell; once trapped inside, there was no way out unless opened from the outside.
As for Kefla on the other side, because time was frozen, she offered no resistance at all and was casually tossed into the other bottle by Gamos.
All of this occurred in 0.1 seconds. As the frozen time resumed, Gamos quickly dodged, and the two terrifying spheres of Destruction energy grazed past him, colliding with two meteorites behind him, which instantly disintegrated into specks of starlight and vanished.
Seeing his attack miss and the two ants disappear, only for a child to appear in their place, Champa was taken aback.
"Huh? Where did those two go?"
Champa was somewhat confused. He had clearly intended to eradicate them, but they had suddenly vanished, causing his attack to hit nothing.
"Lord Champa, look at the item in his hand."
Only then did Champa look at the ring on Gamos's hand.
"Isn't that the Supreme Kai's Time Ring? How does he have it?"
Champa asked in confusion.
Hearing this, Gamos cursed inwardly and instinctively hid his hand behind his back.
No matter how easy the God of Destruction was to fool, he was still a god. What if he decided to fulfill his duty and destroy him?
"Ah, well, Lord Champa, those two from before have been sealed away by me. Look, could you leave them to me to deal with?"
"Leave them to you? Who do you think you are?"
Champa was in a foul mood. Why was no one afraid of him lately? The two ants from before had been so arrogant, even daring to question him. Now this one wanted to snatch his prey right out of his hands. If a tiger doesn't show its claws, do they really think it's a sick cat?
Seeing the god flare up, Gamos didn't dare to be overconfident and quickly used the trump card he had seen in the anime.
"Lord Champa, I can trade them for gourmet food."
Champa, who had been furious and intended to destroy him as well, paused upon hearing the offer to be tempted by food.
"Hmph, as a God of Destruction, do you think I haven't tasted gourmet food? I have lived for who knows how many ages and have already tasted all the delicacies in the world. To think you would try to tempt me with food—that's an extra crime."
Although he called it an extra crime, Champa crossed his arms and made no move to attack, looking instead as if he were waiting for Gamos to speak so he could slap him down.
Gamos saw a glimmer of hope; as long as the god didn't fly into a rage immediately, he could be saved.
"Lord Champa, let me introduce myself. I come from Earth."
"There is a lot of gourmet food on Earth. Perhaps you have tasted many things, but every planet has its own unique specialties. Maybe the food on our planet will suit your palate even better?"
Gamos didn't use a provocation tactic. He didn't have a protagonist's halo; if he belittled the god's food and failed to pique his curiosity or competitive spirit, but instead made him fly into a rage and kill him, he wouldn't even have a place to cry.
Hearing this, Champa stroked his chin.
"My meal was indeed interrupted earlier, and I wasn't satisfied. Very well! I shall give you a chance to please a God of Destruction."
