"What did you say?"
Hearing her younger sister's report, Yasi stood up in astonishment, her eyes filled with panic.
"This is terrible. What are we supposed to do now?"
Yasi paced back and forth in a flurry, racking her brain for a countermeasure.
"Sister, didn't the God of Thought choose a champion? If a champion were here, they should be able to stop them, right!"
Lanya had assumed that since her sister had gone to preside over the ceremony, a champion must have already been selected. Why, then, was her sister still so terrified?
Hearing her sister's words, Yasi offered a bitter smile before handing the Gamos she was holding over to her.
"This is our champion, the child bestowed upon us by the God of Thought. But the child hasn't grown up yet; how could he possibly defend us against the brutal Green Cloth Tribe?"
Looking at Gamos, who was still in his swaddling clothes, Lanya was completely dumbfounded. What was going on? The newly chosen champion was actually an infant—how could this be possible?
There were three races living on this planet, along with countless savage giant beasts.
These three races were the Butterfly Spirit Tribe, the Green Cloth Tribe, and the Mode Star People.
Among them, the Mode Star People were the most widespread, effectively the planet's primary inhabitants.
The Green Cloth Tribe, however, were the scourge of the planet. They were naturally cruel and bloodthirsty, treating the other two races as food; they were utterly barbaric.
The Butterfly Spirit Tribe were the darlings of nature, possessing the life-giving abilities of the natural world, but they lacked any combat capability whatsoever, somewhat similar to the support-type Namekians of Planet Namek.
Originally, the Butterfly Spirit Tribe had lived in seclusion deep within a forest. While the Mode Star People and the Green Cloth Tribe often clashed, a certain balance had been maintained.
That was until a year ago, when a powerful genius emerged within the Green Cloth Tribe. Relying on immense strength, he rampaged across the battlefield, unstoppable. The Mode Star People were beaten back time and again, to the point where the Green Cloth Tribe now reigned supreme.
Upon learning that the Green Cloth Tribe had arrived again, everyone was in a panic, already beginning to pack their belongings to flee.
"Lanya, gather our people. No matter what, you must ensure the safety of the champion. He is our future."
Lanya took Gamos, looking at her sister with reluctance.
"Are you going to the battlefield yourself?"
"There is no other way. The champion is still small, and we must ensure he grows up. Our high-end combat power is already depleted; I must join the fray."
With that, Yasi unleashed her power and flew off in the direction of the distance.
"Sister, don't worry. I will definitely protect the champion."
Lanya watched her sister's departing back with firm resolve, then prepared to leave to find a safe place.
But just then, the child in Lanya's arms suddenly began to wail.
"My goddess nanny, those wretched Green Cloth Tribe! Don't be afraid, Goddess, I'm coming to save you right now!"
As Gamos let out a series of cries, a violent aura surged forth, blowing Lanya—who had been caught off guard—away.
A verdant green light flickered over Gamos's tiny body, and even the surrounding environment turned green, layer upon layer of energy converging on his small frame.
Regardless of anything else, Gamos possessed a combat power of 10,000. And what did a combat power of 10,000 mean?
One must remember that in the original Dragon Ball storyline, Vegeta did not even have such a high combat power when he first invaded Earth.
Although his body was still too small to engage in melee combat, possessing such a powerful ki meant he could easily serve as a long-range artillery piece.
Thus, Gamos transformed into a streak of emerald light and flew toward the distance. In the blink of an eye, he had reached the battlefield where Yasi was.
The distance from the altar was not far, only about ten kilometers.
At that moment, Yasi was continuously exerting her power, manipulating the surrounding vegetation. Countless vines seemed to come to life, constantly entangling the massive bodies of the Green Cloth Tribe.
The Green Cloth Tribe were tall, generally around two and a half meters in height, with green skin, blue faces, and fangs; their appearance was exceptionally hideous.
Gamos saw at a glance one of the Green Cloth Tribe grab a Mode Star Person, open his massive maw, and shove him directly inside.
Then came the crunch, crunch of chewing—the scene was incredibly bloody.
Another member of the Green Cloth Tribe had even extended his demonic claws toward the Butterfly Spirit Tribe. A beautiful young girl with butterfly wings—a goddess in the eyes of countless youths—was just like that, shoved into the monster's mouth. The sight made Gamos's blood boil with rage.
"Ahhh! Such a beautiful young lady, how could you bring yourself to do that?"
An enraged Gamos stretched out his tiny hand toward that Green Cloth monster and fired a verdant energy blast.
With a boom, the Green Cloth monster, who had been arrogantly shouting after his meal, was blasted into nothingness, leaving behind a one-meter-deep crater where he had stood.
The sudden explosion drew everyone's attention.
The crowd turned their gazes toward Gamos in unison, but Gamos felt no fear. He raised both tiny hands and unleashed a barrage of blasts at these green monsters.
"The champion? It's the champion the God of Thought sent us."
"The champion is still so small, yet he can already fight?"
The scene was witnessed by everyone; both the Butterfly Spirit Tribe and the Mode Star People were utterly astonished.
Yasi, who was hiding in a vantage point to cast her spells, had an expression of disbelief.
"Didn't I leave him with Lanya? How did the champion end up here?"
"Still, the champion is truly strong. Even though he's just a child, he already possesses such combat power."
At this moment, Gamos was incredibly excited. In his past life, he had been an ordinary person, but now he finally possessed power that transcended the common man. This feeling was simply magnificent.
Gamos, filled with immense excitement, raised his two small hands like a machine gunner, continuously firing energy blasts. The energy within his body felt inexhaustible, as if he had no need to worry about any consumption at all.
Perhaps this was the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan constitution; the energy within him was simply endless.
"Fire, fire, fire! You ugly creatures, for bullying my goddess, all of you can go to hell!"
Such a scene was truly spectacular, far more thrilling than any large-scale monster-slaying game from his past life.
Gamos's hands flew, continuously attacking the enemies before him with energy blasts, as if he were treating the scene before him like a game, completely devoid of the feeling of war.
Just then, Gamos seemed to sense something and immediately looked up toward the distance.
The Mode Star People, who had been cheering for their warrior, all ceased their shouting and followed Gamos's gaze toward the horizon.
With a thunderous roar, a massive figure suddenly lunged from afar, moving at a speed so fast it was nearly impossible for the naked eye to track.
The giant figure landed, creating a deafening boom as its two massive feet struck the ground, leaving cracks that spread outward in every direction.
As the opponent appeared, Gamos finally saw his appearance clearly.
He stood over three meters tall with a robust green body, brandishing a giant spiked club, with two sharp fangs protruding from his mouth.
"ROAR!"
The monster let out an angry bellow, having witnessed everything that had just transpired on the battlefield.
A war that should have been easily won had suffered heavy losses because of this brat's appearance.
The monster looked at Gamos with bloodthirsty eyes, like a mindless beast that saw nothing but prey to be devoured.
Gamos, however, showed no fear. He placed his hands in front of his chest, and the surrounding scene was illuminated by a green glow, which then gathered layer by layer into the palm of his hand.
It was an energy ball the size of a ping-pong ball; though small in volume, it radiated absolutely terrifying power.
In his past life, the reason Gamos believed the Legendary Super Saiyan could pin the Huang Heavenly Emperor to the ground and rub his face in the dirt was that the Legendary Saiyan—the Saiyan with green hair—possessed the power to destroy planets from the moment of birth.
Gamos then looked at the monster with a gaze full of mockery.
"I might not be able to beat Frieza, but surely I can beat you? Even without a scouter, I doubt anyone on this primitive planet has a combat power exceeding 1,000!"
Gamos flashed a wicked smile, and to the monster, this smile looked like food on a plate mockingly taunting him, saying, "You can't bite me, you can't bite me."
How could he endure this? The super monster immediately charged toward Gamos, raising his spiked club high, intending to smash the little runt into a pulp with a single blow.
Everyone watched this scene unfold, and most of them couldn't help but close their eyes.
This was the warrior gifted to them by the God of Thought; was he to be killed so soon?
"Warrior!"
Watching the club about to descend, Yasi screamed at the top of her lungs.
Just as everyone thought Gamos was about to perish, he tossed the energy ball in his hand, striking the giant Green Cloth Tribe member five meters away.
Gamos raised his left hand as if pushing forward; the massive monster not only failed to advance but was sent flying backward by the energy pressing against his chest.
Seeing the distance was sufficient, Gamos clenched his five fingers into a fist, intending to detonate it.
However, the energy blast did not detonate immediately; instead, it pushed the monster further away, slamming into a hill before finally exploding.
With a thunderous boom, the terrifying energy formed a massive storm, pulverizing everything within a hundred meters and leaving a crater nearly ten meters deep in its wake.
Everyone was stunned by this shocking display, save for Gamos, who stared blankly at his own hands.
"Why was there a delay in my detonation? It seems my mastery is still not quite refined!"
Ever since he first gained consciousness, Gamos had tried to sense the ki within his body and attempted to control it according to tutorials from anime; it appeared his control techniques were still far from mature.
