Perfect Cell's Coolness Lasts Less Than Three Seconds

"Son Goku, King Vegeta, didn't you two die 13 years ago? Especially you, King Vegeta—we killed you with our own hands."

Android 17 said in horror. Seeing people who were already dead standing before him, and radiating such terrifying energy, made absolutely no sense.

"Hmph, this time I'm going to kill you both with my own hands."

King Vegeta had his pride; hearing that the other had killed him—even if it was the version of him from this timeline—filled him with extraordinary rage.

"Wait, wait a second."

Android 17 tried to say something, but King Vegeta didn't give him the chance. With golden energy flaring around his body, he charged straight at him.

"Go to hell!"

King Vegeta landed a punch on his chest. Before Android 17 could react, he was smashed into the forest, shattering a mountain with a thunderous boom.

He felt as if he heard his own chest cavity crack. Buried in a deep crater, he couldn't move a muscle, and even his consciousness began to fade.

Android 18 watched Android 17's fate in terror, her eyes filled with fear as she looked at King Vegeta.

"How could you possibly have become this strong? This is impossible!"

"Nothing is impossible. A Saiyan is far beyond your imagination."

King Vegeta condensed an energy wave in his hand and blasted it straight at her.

Android 18 had no time to dodge. In the nick of time, she could only manage to activate a protective barrier, but under the terrifying energy attack, the barrier shattered in a single breath, and she was swallowed by the blue light.

The shockwave hit the ground, leaving behind another massive crater.

King Vegeta let out a cold snort and spat. "Trash!"

Though he had vented his anger and taken his revenge, the Earth was already ruined beyond recognition.

"I'm going to Namek!"

Son Goku spoke up. King Vegeta nodded; he knew what the other was planning, so he didn't stop him.

Just then, at the spot where Android 17 lay unconscious, a green tail emerged from the ground, clamped onto Android 17's head, and began to consume him.

After Son Goku left, King Vegeta turned around, intending to finish the job, only to discover in astonishment that Android 17 was gone.

"Where's 17? Did he run away?"

On the other side, a green tail appeared near Android 18 as well, swallowing her in one gulp.

Sensing something was wrong, King Vegeta shouted into the air.

"Who's hiding in the shadows? If you've got the guts, come out and face me. Let's see if I don't teach you a lesson."

No sooner had he finished speaking than a figure burst out of the ground with a bang.

"I'm out."

Then, another figure erupted from a different spot. It was two Cells.

"What is this thing?"

The two Cells quickly collided. At the tips of their tails, each was wrapped around a person.

This was Tien Shinhan's ultimate technique, the Four Witches Technique. Cell had split himself in two to swallow both Android 17 and Android 18.

As the two Cells merged, the people inside their tails were pulled into their bodies. A brilliant light erupted from them, forcing King Vegeta to step back and instinctively raise his hand to shield his eyes from the glare.

"Hahaha! Thank you so much, King Vegeta. With your help, I can finally become my perfect form."

Cell roared, terrifying energy surging through his body. His tail, which had been lashing about in the air, began to retract; his three-toed feet began to transform into human-like feet, and his skin took on a smoother, more lustrous sheen.

Finally, Cell completed his transformation. His original insect-like face had become a handsome human face, topped with two green carapaces.

Perfect Cell had arrived.

Feeling the energy radiating from him, King Vegeta snorted coldly. Three pieces of trash combined were still just trash—only a little bigger.

"Prince Vegeta, to thank you for letting me reach my perfect form, I'll make you the first soul to perish at my hands since my transformation!"

With that, an excited Cell, eager to test his strength, charged straight at him.

"Eat this punch."

Cell landed a punch on his face, but King Vegeta didn't even budge. He backhanded him, slapping him squarely across the face.

"Getting a bit cocky, are we?"

Then came another slap to the other side of his face. "Perfect form, is it?"

Smack! Another slap. "Thanking me, are you?"

Smack! Another slap. "The first soul to perish, is it?"

With every sentence came a slap. A series of smacks left the newly leveled-up Cell completely dazed.

Who am I? Where am I?

A bewildered Cell was utterly confused. What happened to being invincible in the universe once he reached his perfect form?

The computer's data clearly stated that Perfect Cell could dominate the universe. Dr. Gero, you lied to me! Waaah!

King Vegeta delivered a kick from above, sending the once-arrogant Cell crashing straight into the lake.

"Damn it, you piece of trash, you stole the kill I was meant to have!"

He had defeated two Androids himself, only to have the final blow snatched away—who wouldn't be furious?

"Cell, get your ass up here right now and let me beat you again!"

At this moment, Cell was completely demoralized. He had finally reached his perfect form, yet before he could even show off, Vegeta had beaten him into this pathetic state. The world was simply too surreal.

Impossible, this is absolutely impossible. How could Vegeta be this strong? I have his cells inside me; how could I not know his true strength?

Something must have gone wrong. Could it be that I entered the scene the wrong way?

Hearing the shouting from above, Cell didn't dare ignore it and flew up, bracing himself for the worst.

"That was just an accident before. Witness the true power of Cell!"

As he spoke, Cell didn't forget to strike a triumphant pose. Vegeta, who had been planning to pummel him, suddenly shuddered, thinking to himself.

Seeing Vegeta freeze, Cell thought he had finally gotten his entrance right and was about to crush his opponent, but Vegeta snapped out of it and delivered a furious kick.

With a loud bang, Cell went flying again.

"What kind of garbage is this? It's an eyesore."

With that, Vegeta prepared to send him straight to Hell.

"Big Bang Attack!"

At the same time, Son Goku returned via Instant Transmission.

"Vegeta, it's bad! All the Namekians have disappeared."

"Kakarot, get out of my way!"

Vegeta had already prepared his energy blast, but Son Goku had run over to get in the way.

Seeing that Vegeta was about to attack, Son Goku hurriedly stepped aside, revealing Cell behind him.

"Aha, spare me! If you spare me, I'll follow you from now on!"

Cell felt like dying. One after another, did they really have to be this strong?

Vegeta, who had intended to finish him off in one go, seemed to recall something and halted his attack.
