Remodeling Hercule Again

"Son Goku, Vegeta, help me bring the Hercule of this timeline here!"

Gamos's voice resonated directly in their minds. Son Goku and Vegeta immediately understood his intentions; he was planning to create a Super Hercule!

"Tch, Androids again!"

Vegeta was truly annoyed. Gamos was treating Super Androids like an assembly line, and each one was stronger than the last. The mountains looming over his head were only growing taller. No, he had to get stronger, and fast.

Less than an hour later, Son Goku was flying through the sky, clutching a wailing man in his hand.

"Mr. Hercule, stop screaming! It's perfectly safe, don't worry!"

"Who, who on earth are you? You can actually fly—are you an Android too?"

Hercule's face was a mask of terror. He had been busy helping survivors build a temporary base when Son Goku and Vegeta descended from the sky, called him out by name, and snatched him away.

"Enough talk. You'll see when we get there."

Vegeta replied irritably.

In his own hand, he was also carrying someone: none other than Hercule's daughter, Videl.

The Videl of this timeline had already grown into a beautiful young woman, but because Android 17 and Android 18 had destroyed everything, schools had long since ceased to exist. Consequently, she did not know Son Gohan, nor did she know anything about Saiyans.

Son Goku and Vegeta each carried their captive and soon arrived at the laboratory.

"Gamos, I've brought the people you wanted."

Gamos walked out and took a look. Ha, buy one get one free—there's even a young girl, Videl.

"Hello there!"

Vegeta scanned his surroundings and asked suspiciously, "Where is Bulma?"

"Over there!"

Gamos pointed toward a room, and Vegeta walked straight inside.

As he opened the door, Vegeta's pupils contracted, and a surge of fury boiled in his heart.

Bulma was lying quietly inside a stasis pod, and through the glass, he could see countless tubes attached to her body.

"What is the meaning of this? Gamos, what have you done to her?"

An enraged Vegeta's energy erupted, and he transformed directly into a Super Saiyan.

"Relax, relax. This is for her own survival! You know the power of a Super Android. If Bulma possesses that kind of strength, she will have the power to protect herself should she encounter any more danger."

"But..."

Vegeta couldn't accept it for the moment. His own wife, just like that, had been transformed into an Android. Was this really okay?

"Did she volunteer for this?" Vegeta asked as a final question. After all, in his memories, the entire Earth had been reduced to this state because of the Androids, so they should have been the things she hated most.

Now, for Bulma to turn herself into an Android seemed highly unlikely.

"Of course. I wouldn't do anything against a woman's will."

Gamos shrugged, then turned his gaze toward Hercule and Videl.

This father-daughter pair didn't look like total dead weight; it seemed they had managed to live reasonably well in the post-apocalyptic world of the Androids.

"Not bad. Mr. Hercule, Ms. Videl, I intend to create a few Androids to protect this planet. Would you be willing?"

The father and daughter exchanged a glance, both seeing shock in the other's eyes.

Androids? Weren't those the things that had turned the Earth into a mess? What did he mean? Was he going to turn them into Androids?

"No, no, no! I refuse to become a killing machine. I, Hercule, am destined to save the world! I am a hero; I won't become a monster."

"Even if I die today, I won't let you turn my father and me into those kinds of monsters!"

Watching the determined expressions of the pair, Gamos couldn't help but rub his forehead. It seemed the trauma left by Android 17 and Android 18 ran deep.

Helpless, Gamos had to re-explain the concept of Androids to them. In short: if they wanted to gain great power, they had to undergo the transformation, and with that power, they could become true heroes.

He also assured them that he would not brainwash them or impose any mental control, and that even after becoming Androids, they would still be able to reproduce like normal humans.

Upon hearing the explanation, Hercule immediately stood up excitedly, hands on his hips, and let out a loud laugh.

"As the saying goes, if I don't go to hell, who will? To protect the peace of the Earth, I, Hercule, am willing to sacrifice myself and become an Android!"

Watching his old man's rapid change of heart, Videl couldn't help but twitch her lip.

"Since that's the case, I'll accept the transformation too."

Both of them had a foundation in martial arts and weren't bad people; they possessed a heroic spirit, and Gamos was happy to give them a hand.

The stasis pod Bulma occupied was number 19, so Hercule and his daughter naturally entered pods 20 and 21.

"The transformation will take one week. When you wake up, you will be Super Hercule and Super Videl—or rather, Super Android 20 and Super Android 21."

Soon, the two fell into a deep sleep. Once Gamos adjusted the programs, he left the entire transformation process to the computer.

After finishing all this, Gamos finally looked at the other two.

"How are things going outside? When can the Earth be restored? When can the people here be resurrected?"

Son Goku said with a grave expression.

"The Namekians are dead, practically extinct. There are no Dragon Balls left in this timeline, so I plan to bring the Dragon Balls from our timeline over here to resurrect the people of this world."

Hearing such an imaginative idea, Gamos silently gave him a thumbs-up; this method was truly ingenious.

"That is a decent idea. I don't know if it will work, but it is worth a try."

At the same time, the entire Earth began to tremble again, as if another disaster were about to descend at any moment.

"What is wrong with this timeline now? We just dealt with the Androids; could a new enemy have appeared already?"

Vegeta ran out in excitement, only to be met with a shocking sight.

The sky was dim, and in the distance, a pink beam of light shot into the heavens, accompanied by two powerful auras. These two auras were remarkably similar, yet one was good and the other evil.

"What is going on?"

Son Goku and Vegeta flew directly toward the direction of the pillar of light, while Gamos's eyes flickered with uncertainty.

"Majin Buu, and there are two of them. It seems this timeline is different from the original story as well!"

Seemingly sensing something interesting, Gamos finally set down his small tools, took off his white lab coat, and changed into a combat suit before following them.

Upon arriving at the source of the light, they saw a large, fat man fighting a small child.

Gamos recognized both of them; the fat man was the Majin Buu who had appeared at the very beginning, while the child was the original form of Majin Buu.

At the end of the Majin Buu arc in the original story, Son Goku had gathered the Spirit Bomb to destroy Kid Buu, with Fat Buu stalling for time, though Fat Buu had been no match for Kid Buu.

And now, these two Majin Buus were locked in battle right there.
