Background

Li Jiutian was originally an office worker from Blue Star who died suddenly while working after reading Douluo Continent. He transmigrated into the Douluo Continent as a five-year-old orphan and awakened the Martial Soul Replication System, which could copy martial souls and evolve them twice. Since the system could not replicate a martial soul until he turned six, he survived for a year using his knowledge of the world. 1

After meeting Qian Renxue, he entered Spirit Hall and awakened the Eight-Winged Angel Martial Soul by replicating and evolving her Six-Winged Angel. His innate soul power was Level 20, and Qian Daoliu accepted him as his first closed-door disciple. Li Jiutian also persuaded Qian Renxue to accept him as her younger brother. 2

Under Qian Daoliu's guidance, he acquired unusually powerful soul rings from the start, including a thousand-year first ring and a 6,000-year second ring. He later enrolled in Spirit Hall Primary Academy, where he protected Luo Zixuan from bullying and accepted her as his younger sister. 3 5 6

After six years of cultivation, Li Jiutian entered Spirit Hall Academy and defeated the Golden Generation's Yan, Xie Yue, and Hu Liena in a three-on-one match. His rise continued through the Continental Advanced Spirit Master Academy Elite Tournament, where he helped Spirit Hall retain the championship and defeated the Shrek Seven Devils alone. 13 30

Rather than accept spirit bones as his tournament reward, Li Jiutian requested military authority. Bibi Dong named him General of Heavenly Might, granted him an Elder token, and gave him one-sixth of Spirit Hall's military authority. He subsequently established the Heavenly Cloud Sect, with Hu Liena serving as vice sect master. 30 37 63

Li Jiutian entered Slaughter City with Hu Liena, obtained the Seven Styles of God Slaying technique, and escaped Hell Road after defeating the Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King and Ten-Headed Fiery Sun Snake. He also destroyed Slaughter City's Yellow Springs Dew with the Snowy Swan Kiss, intending to prevent another Slaughter God from emerging. 37 42

As Heavenly Cloud Sect's leader, he imposed strict military discipline, developed troops and equipment, and mobilized his forces against the Heaven Dou Empire after Ge Long massacred Gengxin City. He later accepted the God of Destruction's inheritance, completed divine assessments on Heavenly Pivot Island, and also inherited the Asura God's divine position after defeating Tang Chen. His final transformation replaced his Soul Power with Destruction Power and Asura divine power. 104 199 213

During a later divine calamity, Li Jiutian pushed Qian Renxue through a spatial rift and was struck by divine lightning. His body was destroyed, but his soul followed the rift into a parallel world, where he was reborn as Li Tian and began rebuilding his cultivation through true qi. 227 230

Li Jiutian is described as a tall, refined young man with fair skin, sharply defined features, crimson-gold or golden eyes, and an aloof demeanor. By the end of his primary-academy training, he stood 178 cm tall; after reincarnating in the parallel world, his new body stood approximately 190 cm. 8 227

Li Jiutian is calculating, ambitious, and unusually composed for his age. Having experienced poverty and isolation both before and after transmigration, he places exceptional value on family, loyalty, and protecting people who cannot protect themselves. His decision to defend Luo Zixuan from bullying was directly influenced by memories of being mistreated for his own poor background. 6

He is compassionate toward allies and civilians, spending freely on those close to him, protecting his sect members, and refusing to sacrifice soldiers needlessly. His handling of corrupt Spirit Hall officials in Gengxin City earned him widespread public support. 48 51 62

Conversely, Li Jiutian is merciless toward enemies, bullies, and corrupt officials. He kills opponents who threaten his companions, publicly executes Ge Long for the Gengxin City massacre, and often responds to provocation with cold contempt. 8 14 172

Although he initially struggles with intense killing intent after Slaughter City, he actively seeks Tang Yuehua's help to strengthen his heart. A year of harp training leaves him more restrained, steady, and noble in bearing. 58 59
