Background / History

Xiao Wu entered Notting Academy intending to become the boss of Room Seven, as she had formerly been the “big sister” of Da Ming and Er Ming in the Star Dou Forest. She challenged Lu Chen immediately, but even her martial soul possession, century-old ring, and Waist Bow could not overcome his physical strength. She accepted defeat in good faith, recognized Lu Chen as Room Seven’s boss, and declared herself its second-in-command. 5 6

She represented the work-study students in their contest against the noble students. After swiftly defeating Liu Long and then Xiao Chenyu, she established herself as “Sister Xiao Wu” throughout the academy; her century-old ring intimidated the noble faction into conceding. 8

During three years at Notting Academy, Xiao Wu shared her extensive knowledge of soul beasts with Lu Chen. Though a hundred-thousand-year soul beast, she is described as having been well protected and lacking deep scheming; praise easily persuades her to speak freely. 9

After reuniting with Lu Chen in Suotuo City, she learned that he had discovered her true identity. Rather than exploit her, Lu Chen gave her a Substitute Blue Silver Emperor that could transfer damage and conceal her soul-beast aura, earning her trust. 61 63
