After dealing with the last target, Hyuuga Nen looked toward Hanzo, who was fighting Pain in the distance. Nagato hadn't sent out the Six Paths doppelgangers for this battle, so Hanzo could still hold his own against Pain.
"What method did you use to make yourself immune to my poison?" Hanzo dodged one of Pain's ninjutsu attacks and looked at him with suspicion.
"Hanzo, I knew you were old, but I didn't expect your strength to have declined so much. I thought defeating you would take some effort, but it seems that won't be necessary." Pain spoke in a cold voice.
Hanzo didn't answer Pain. Instead, he watched the Akatsuki members closing in and slowly said, "Orochimaru, I didn't expect you to be here too."
Hanzo looked over the Akatsuki members one by one. "Kakuzu, the puppet master from Sunagakure... and you. Are you Hyuuga Nen?"
No one answered him.
"Ha ha ha ha!" Hanzo let out a bitter laugh. Seeing his entire army wiped out and Amegakure reduced to rubble, he wore a dejected expression.
