"Alright, the mission's over. Now let's all enjoy the hot springs here. They're quite famous in the Land of Fire."
Standing at the entrance to the resort, with shops on both sides, Jiraiya's group had just said goodbye to their client.
This mission had turned out to be beyond Yueshu's expectations. Nothing major had happened, nor had they encountered several Kage-level ninja like last time.

Jiraiya grinned, then immediately turned and ran off.

Yueshu knew Jiraiya's personality well enough. He claimed to have business, but whatever he was doing was definitely nothing good.
"Master Jiraiya probably... maybe... wouldn't—"
Even Minato Namikaze lost confidence as he spoke.
Naturally, he had been thrilled when Jiraiya first came to guide him. But after spending so much time together, he had come to realize what kind of person Jiraiya was.
"Well, whatever. I'm going back to the inn to rest."
"Come to think of it, that guy doesn't seem to have booked us any rooms yet."
