Transferring chakra

"Yoshino, have you got no strength? Why are you spitting it such a short distance? You could pee farther than that."

As a lady, Yoshino Nara blushed with embarrassment at the comparison to peeing.

"I only just started practicing! What's your hurry?"

"And don't say 'pee' in front of girls. It's rude!"

Uchiha Kurohane thought Yoshino Nara's criticism made no sense at all.

"What, girls don't need to pee? It's a normal bodily function. Why can't I talk about it?"

Still, Yoshino Nara had been right about one thing: ordinary ninja learned Ninjutsu very slowly.

Taking several months to learn a single jutsu was perfectly normal, so Yoshino Nara's progress in producing a small flame after a few days was nothing unusual.

Uchiha Kurohane had learned it directly through an entry, which was why he was now casually showing off.

While Yoshino Nara used the Great Fireball Technique, Uchiha Kurohane had examined the chakra flow in her body through his crow's Byakugan. He spotted a few problems and explained them to her.

"You're only practicing right now. You don't need to use so much chakra at once. You don't have much to begin with, so it's too wasteful."

"You can't spit out a big fireball anyway. Use less chakra and make a small one instead. Get familiar with the jutsu first, then gradually put more chakra into it once you've mastered the technique."

Yoshino Nara clapped her hands together, suddenly seeing the light.

"That makes sense! If I use less chakra, I can practice a dozen more times every day. Kurohane, you're so smart!"

Yoshino Nara immediately followed Uchiha Kurohane's advice and reduced the amount of chakra she used.

Since she had yet to master the technique, most of the chakra she had been using failed to turn into flames.
