Chapter 104 103: Resurrection Stone and the frightened Dark Lord
Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor Office.
After Ian was caught by Gilderoy. Grindelwald outside Dumbledore's Headmaster's Office, he was caught by this Teacher Defence Against the Dark Arts couldn't refuse and brought him here directly to wait. As for Gilderoy. Grindelwald himself, according to what he said, he needed to see what Dumbledore found first.
The communication between the principal and his best friend obviously would not last too short. Ian had not thought about sneaking back to the dormitory, but he was still worried that Gilderoy. Grindelwald would run to the dormitory to catch him back.
Ian is a person who values his own face very much. During the day, there were rumors that Snape took him away in class in front of a large audience. Who knows if it happened in the middle of the night? Being kidnapped by Gilderoy. Grindelwald on the bed, some secrets that he and Gilderoy. Lockhart have to tell will be spread in the school.
"What a terrible night."
Ian stared at the tea Gilderoy. Grindelwald made for him in front of him. It was placed in a simple and elegant porcelain cup. The cup body was delicate and smooth, and the glaze color was as warm as jade, with a faint luster. Such an ingenious appearance, tone and texture were obviously exquisite porcelain from ancient Eastern countries.
The British Empire has been adhering to an oriental respect in the selection of tea and tea sets since ancient times, but things like this are not common among Hogwarts and many wizard families.
Most wizards actually have some ideological shackles that are like being closed to the country, so Grindelwald is obviously a person whose thoughts in this regard are completely different from other wizards. In the entire office that seems to have been re-decorated, in addition to tea sets, there are also many items with some cultural symbols from many countries.
Russian pine furniture, Persian carpets, wind chimes from Japan, percussion instruments from Africa and wood carvings, things from different countries are collected in this office.
There is even an ancient oriental simple knife hanging on the wall, as well as a Ian staff whose culture cannot be recognized. They overlap on the wall, forming an X-shaped pattern.
It's like the intertwining of reality and magic... Although these things have some magical atmosphere and are alchemical creations, they are mostly extraordinary modified items just like Weasley family's car. I don't know how Grindelwald dares to use it so openly to decorate his own office.
"What an elusive guy." Ian has always heard that Grindelwald is a wizard supremacist, and his philosophy is slightly less radical than Voldemort Pure-blood Supremacy's slogan. However, he was somewhat unexpected to see some of Muggle's things in this room.
Technology products.
Yes, refrigerators, ovens, TVs, washing machines, and even a disassembled computer are all relatively expensive Muggle technology products in this era.
Grindelwald may indeed be rich himself, or it may be the stolen property of Gilderoy. Lockhart, but Ian is more likely to have broken into the home of a Muggle rich man and conducted some zero-dollar shopping activities that transcended the times. I don't know why this wizard supremacist would be interested in Muggle's things.
"Using this to understand the social situation of Muggle?" Ian felt that just by relying on the things in the office, Voldemort's servant Quirinus·Quirrell After E comes back, I'm afraid he won't even be able to get the position of professor Muggle Studies. Take a look, there is even a box of pickles on Grindelwald's shelf that is magically protected from spoilage.
It is filled with all kinds of Korean kimchi. Grindelwald has obviously captured the cultural essence of the Great Cold Nether Kingdom. This level of understanding even exceeded the Muggles themselves in this early 1990s. Of course, compared to the labels hanging under other collections, the label under the kimchi box does not contain any Grindelwald's insights and cultural analysis.
Some are just five consecutive question marks like "?????" - Grindelwald Even the ancient Eastern countries have lengthy articles, but they seem to be unable to conduct any analysis on the culture of Kimchi Country.
"It's understandable. Whoever sees their situation is not confused..." Ian was bored and waiting for Grindelwald. During this period, he was also curious to look at Grindelwald's collection in the office. Except for the modified radio, those technological products could not be used in Hogwarts.
Even though Ian, who has both physical and demon skills, can use magic to create a stable and long-lasting electric current, he still cannot start even an electronic device - this situation was actually discovered after Ian accidentally discovered that his tape recorder could not play the recording of Daphne. Greengrass.
It's not that he forgot to complain, he just found that he couldn't bring the evidence to complain. Of course, Ms. Daphne. Greengrass has also been very honest recently. Ian There was no reason for the attack, otherwise the words "Professor, what does Mudblood mean?" would definitely be enough to make Daphne. Greengrass uncomfortable for a while.
Ian originally planned to satisfy Hogwarts by asking every professor and mentioning Daphne. Greengrass to every professor, but Daphne. Greengrass's reformed attitude actually saved herself - according to Aurora, she didn't dare to discriminate against any of Muggle-born's little wizards.
She is even more afraid of Ian than she is of the professor. Since the last Marcus incident, Daphne. Greengrass will immediately choose to take a detour after seeing Ian from a distance. Even if it is raining outside, she will pretend to go out to bask in the sun. The main thing is to avoid Ian even if it is raining.
In the same class as Ravenclaw and Slytherin, she would also turn herself into a transparent person. Whenever Ian looked at her, her whole body would shake into a sieve and burrow under the table.
Ian felt that he was not a very grudge-bearing person, he only held a slight grudge, so he did not continue to think about Daphne, and only occasionally used his "staring" eyes to scare Miss Greengrass.
This is just a small episode in daily life. What is worth mentioning is that through this incident, Ian realized that Hogwarts not only had no electricity but was not allowed to use electrical appliances.
It has obviously been cast with some kind of magic or interference. Even if Ian can produce a stable rated current through Alchemy, Muggle's electronic products still cannot be used here.
"Only magic-modified items are allowed to function..."
Ian didn't quite understand the reason for this situation. When he asked the portraits, the portraits only told him one sentence - there is a story behind every school rule.
Maybe something happened to Hogwarts before, or maybe there was a similar situation in the entire wizarding world. Ian's limited experience did not allow him to guess the answer to the question.
"Anyway, there is definitely something going on with magic plus technology, which is definitely more promising than a single skill tree." Ian has always had its own alchemy philosophy in this regard. For example, what limits the flight range of a spaceship is fuel, but if the spaceship is driven by magic, it will be different immediately.
Space fuel is expensive and bulky. How can magic wizards only need three steamed buns a day... maybe with a little kimchi?
Ian looked at the pickle box on the shelf again. At this moment, with the sound of footsteps in the direction of the door, Gilderoy. Grindelwald, who had been talking to Dumbledore for a long time, finally came back.
"Sorry, I kept you waiting for a long time." His attitude on the subject of politeness has been changing a lot, and now Gilderoy. Grindelwald seems to be in a good mood, "Our principal is actually too enthusiastic, so much so that I want to leave as soon as possible, but he still pulls me to talk about many past things."
No one knows whether this is the truth or not. Ian cannot sense Gilderoy. Grindelwald's heart. He can only judge from the smile on Gilderoy. Grindelwald's face that this old man is indeed having a very happy conversation with Dumbledore.
"You can't guess what I saw. He received a letter from someone I don't know. He treasured the letter so much that he didn't even want me to touch it."
Gilderoy. Grindelwald walked into the office happily, "Aurora must have told you about our family's talent. Our stingy principal was obviously worried about what scene I "saw" from that letter. He didn't know. In fact, when I walked in, I saw a scene that he definitely didn't want to happen."
"No matter what is in that letter, in the near future, someone will steal a photo from that letter." Gilderoy. Grindelwald's expression looked a little gloating. "If he lets me read the letter, I will definitely tell him, but now... oh, let the stingy people worry about it."
Maybe the old people have the same bad taste as children.
Ian lowered his head.
No one dared to talk.
He can trust Dumbledore, but obviously does not dare to trust Grindelwald. Therefore, he can tell Dumbledore about some things, but he definitely does not want Grindelwald to know.
Of course.
If Grindelwald cheats, there is really nothing that can be done. The only thing that cannot be checked and balanced is the hanging ratio. Even if it is only a small opening, it is still an almost unsolvable situation.
"Perhaps it's a letter from Aberforth?" Ian has become accustomed to pretending to be stupid. Regardless of whether it is useful or not, it is better to pretend at all than not at all. To be honest, it is really a bit tiring. There are too many old monsters. After he came to Hogwarts, he gained an additional panel ability called [Acting Skills].
Perhaps it was because Ian had already told Grindelwald that he was going to complain to Dumbledore, but Grindelwald did not seem to connect him with the letter.
At least that's the case on the surface.
"He and his brother have no contact for a long time. Even though I have been staying in a certain place and never come out, I still haven't lost my understanding of the outside world."
Gilderoy. Grindelwald raised his eyebrows, "This involves something from the past... Judging from your expression, it is obvious that you have also understood the story that happened that year."
I can only say that Ian does have [acting skills], but the level is really not high.
"Only a little bit."
Ian hurriedly drank tea strategically. The tea was clear in color, with an elegant light green color, as fresh as spring leaves, but when he drank it, it made him feel as if he had licked Coptis chinensis on his tongue.
It was really bitter... Ian, who did not believe in evil, tasted it again. The taste was really bitter and strange. He suspected that this was the prank played on him by Gilderoy. Grindelwald on Halloween.
"Bah, bah, bah~"
Ian took another sip, still grinning like a person drinking iced Americano for the first time. Gilderoy. Grindelwald didn't pay attention to Ian's curious cat-like reaction.
There was a hint of regret in his expression, and a hint of remorse in his tone, "That tragedy changed everything, and it also means that some Prophecy will indeed make those who Prophecy pay the price."
"Talents like ours will allow us to see some of the future, but if we cannot correctly interpret the fragments Prophecy sees, the Prophecy er will suffer backlash from Prophecy."
"I am cautious enough now, but I still feel that I am not cautious enough... I hope you can keep this in mind." Gilderoy. Grindelwald glanced at Ian with deep meaning.
"I will remind Aurora."
Ian blinked and continued drinking tea.
"I'm not worried about that child. She always has some... unique interpretations of the future she sees. This is a talent that allows her to avoid punishment." Gilderoy. Grindelwald's expression was a little awkward, and his tone of voice also had a sense of helplessness.
"Is what happened to Prophecy bound to happen?" Ian has not yet reached the age of Divination Class, and he is also a little curious about one of the most mysterious magics in his world.
"It depends on how many wizards believe in it... I generally won't reveal this little-known answer to others, because it almost represents the common weakness of Seer." Gilderoy. Grindelwald put his hand on Ian's head and rubbed Ian's hair, which is still lush now.
"Of course, for a cute little wizard like you, I am willing to answer all your questions." Gilderoy. Grindelwald stood behind Ian.
One of his eyes turned slightly white, and immediately, the scene reflected in his eyes changed, but the scene he saw did not change much from the scene he had seen for many years.
"Oh, by the way, if you want Prophecy's things to be subversive enough, even the best Prophecy masters will find it difficult to truly see the future. I think this has a lot to do with the influence of history." Gilderoy. Grindelwald's voice was very gentle, and he still patiently added a sentence to Ian.
His eyes returned to normal again, and the corners of his mouth turned up slightly. He was not disappointed because he didn't see a new scene. For him, it was enough to just see the flag raised in the scene.
"Suppose I am a Prophecy master, and then I make a Prophecy that I didn't actually see, but because of my high reputation, everyone believes in my Prophecy?"
Ian looked at Gilderoy. Grindelwald walking in front of him. He couldn't run away anyway, so naturally he could only let himself learn more knowledge from Master Prophecy who had left a mark on history.
"A great question. Almost no one would make such an assumption. Wizards can indeed guide the future, because the future is uncertain before it becomes the present."
"Different Seers may see different futures, and can also choose to direct the present to the future they want. It's just that for your situation, you assume a future that has not been seen by Prophecys, even those famous s Seer, they may not be able to give you an accurate answer to this question." Gilderoy. Grindelwald sat across from Ian, and he also made himself a cup of tea that made Ian feel bitter and heady.
"Okay."
Ian continued drinking tea with some regret.
"What did you taste?"
Gilderoy. Grindelwald suddenly asked curiously.
"Bitter, pure bitter."
Ian answered honestly.
"Yes, this proves that you are living a happy life." Gilderoy. Grindelwald's words were very interesting, and Ian couldn't help but look at the tea cup in his hand thoughtfully.
"To me, this is a sweet tea, but it has changed a bit recently." Gilderoy. Grindelwald chuckled and took a sip, then suddenly responded to Ian's previous question, "In fact, as far as I know, Merlin has made a similar attempt. In the end, he warned future generations in his legacy not to be curious about it anymore..."
It seems like a somewhat vague response.
But it obviously hides some exact information.
"That's okay too?"
Ian's eyes widened in shock.
"The wizard is magical enough, Ian, but I can't give you a definite answer yet." Gilderoy. Grindelwald looked at Lockhart's face with a bright smile.
"Because some things still take time to complete verification."
His words are very informative.
It made Ian's already wide eyes expand even more.
"What did you do?"
Ian couldn't help but ask.
"Of course it's a small misdirection. As for the purpose..." Grindelwald's pupils were flashing, but Ian sitting opposite him did not have such good eyesight. Otherwise, Ian might be able to see clearly. Every flash of pupils represented a different future that Grindelwald had seen.
The scenes are different, and there are huge differences, but in almost every scene, the glory that seems to have been fixed by history is absolutely full of cold death - Prophecy hundreds of times in decades, without exception.
For the Greater Good requires a price. In Grindelwald's Prophecy, there is never a future that Dumbledore hopes to see. Some are always more ambitious prospects with a smaller price.
Nothing more.
"It's time to prevent our principal from doing stupid things. After all, some things require the participation of a great person like him before we can get the answer to your question just now." Grindelwald stood up and tidied his clothes, and his single pupil finally settled on a foggy scene.
The fog is dissipating.
But things in the fog are still not clear enough - Grindelwald not long ago did not completely deceive Dumbledore, he also joined in and is challenging Seer's highest achievements.
"Of course, your participation is essential."
The smile on Grindelwald's face became even brighter, and his tone was meaningful.
"Professor, where do you want to take me? Hogsmeade Village?" Ian Although the small class will not be held tonight due to the holidays, he still does not want to waste the time of learning new knowledge every night.
Time is all about proficiency, Professor!
Of course, if Grindelwald only takes him to Hogsmeade Village, he might also be able to find an opportunity to bring the <Secrets of the Darkest Art> placed in Snape's hut to the school.
"It's still a little further away."
Gilderoy. Grindelwald walked to the desk and took out a gold box from the desk. He threw the box to Ian opposite the desk with some disgust.
"What is this?"
Ian looked at the cube without any gaps in his hand. He felt the weight of gold and wanted to speak up to verify it, but Grindelwald was embarrassed because he was here.
"A container contains things that Dumbledore won't let me handle." Gilderoy. Grindelwald changed himself into a scarf and looked pretty in front of the mirror for a while.
"It'll be useful right away."
Gilderoy. Grindelwald fixed his clothes, walked to the cabinet where various collectibles were placed, turned around and extended his hand to Ian without saying a word.
"Horcrux?"
Ian held it up.
The next moment.
Ian understood the function of the Korean kimchi box - Gilderoy. Grindelwald pinched the kimchi box with his other hand, and an invisible force seemed to surge in the air to wrap them up.
Ian and Gilderoy. Grindelwald disappeared directly into the office. Obviously, the pickle box was made into Portkey. The surrounding scene looked like The Buddha was twisted and stretched by a powerful magical force until it completely disappeared. The sound of howling wind and colorful colors filled the surroundings of Ian and Gilderoy. Grindelwald.
Rotating, flying... and seemingly jumping a little. It was like riding an invisible train, heading towards a distant destination.
It felt much better than Apparition's. When Portkey's power gradually weakened, Ian's vision became clear again, and he found himself being taken to the wilderness.
"Gaunt Family once lived here, do you know where this is?" Gilderoy. Grindelwald beside him still maintains the appearance of Lockhart After all, he is still imprisoned, so he must not use his appearance to carry out activities, otherwise it will be difficult to explain what is going on with the "Grindelwald" currently imprisoned at Nurmengard.
"Professor, are we here to catch the old corpse of the mountain village?" Ian had been fooled by Dumbledore once, and of course he would not fall for it a second time, so he just looked around curiously.
Darkness falls on Halloween night.
The sky seemed to be soaked in thick ink, the stars were hidden, and the moonlight seemed to be avoided at this time. Only a few weak rays barely penetrated the thick clouds.
far away.
A dilapidated wooden shed stands in the wilderness, and a wisp of moonlight shines on the mottled old house, adding a strange color to this place.
The surrounding trees grow twisted and dense, as if they are witnesses of nature's curse on this land. Their branches hang low, as if they are countless ghost hands, stretching silently in the night, trying to catch every creature that strays into this place. The wind passes through the treetops, making a whimpering sound like the whispers of the dead.
"Old corpse of the mountain village? You are right to say that. There is a Horcrux here. We need to hide it from our principal so that he does not have the opportunity to come into contact with this Horcrux."
Gilderoy. Grindelwald walked forward with Ian.
His voice was a bit teasing, "Of course, I may also take revenge on you. After all, Aurora said that you think I am inferior to Dumbledore, so maybe I will bury you here directly."
Maybe there's no one around.
Grindelwald deliberately changed Gilderoy back to its original state. The handsome old man made a sinister expression, as if he was going to ask Ian if he was Dumbledore's favorite cub in the next moment.
"Gu~"
Ian swallowed.
Can you not be nervous?
Among Hogwarts, he is really Dumbledore's favorite cub!
Ian's hand has already touched his wand. Of course, his little move cannot be hidden from Grindelwald, but it makes Grindelwald laugh very happily.
"Aurora is right, you little guy is really brave." After saying that, Grindelwald walked in front of Ian. Their destination was obviously the dilapidated wooden shed in the distance.
"We all know how poor Aurora's understanding skills are!"
Ian quickly defended himself as he followed.
"Tsk, tsk, you are in front of me now, complaining about my blood relatives. Maybe I will be really unhappy, so I will leave you here and let you walk back to Hogwarts." Grindelwald is the best face changer. One second he was raising his eyebrows as if he was joking, and the next second his tone became serious.
This is obviously more threatening than being buried alive.
"Aurora and I are good friends. She will definitely not think that I am complaining about her. I promised to prepare a Christmas gift for her. She will definitely cry if she does not receive it."
"Also, I have prepared Christmas gifts for you and Dumbledore. You may not like Christmas gifts, but you don't want Dumbledore not to receive a decent Christmas gift this year, right?" Ian's tone was full of tea. He was obviously betting that Grindelwald and Dumbledore were really good friends.
"Hahaha~"
Grindelwald laughed very loudly, which disturbed the sleeping things in the forest. Many black shadows fluttered on the trees, mostly birds resting on the branches at night.
"Someone."
Before arriving at the shack in the distance, Ian saw several people in suits who stayed up late at night and followed a nun in circles in this mountainous place. It was like an eagle catching a hen and a chick in a chicken house. The nun was walking in front, and a few men in suits were blindfolded and resting on the shoulders of the person in front.
The nun seemed to be looking for something with these men in suits - when Ian discovered them, Grindelwald's laughter obviously disturbed them.
"Wizard!"
The nun immediately exclaimed when she saw what Ian and Grindelwald were wearing. This caused several men in suits to immediately pull off the cloth covering their eyes in shock.
They were going to take out something from their waists, but they could only see a dark mess at night. Ian immediately felt his scalp numb, and when he raised his wand, a blue flame shone.
But Grindelwald is obviously much faster than him.
"Obliviate!"
This is probably the best interpretation of the characters being cosplayed. Gilderoy. Grindelwald used Lockhart's signature skills, and directly caused several Muggle to roll their eyes and faint on the ground at once.
"Some people say that I was Dark Wizard trained by Durmstrang, but I think Durmstrang is obviously far inferior to Hogwarts in terms of training Dark Wizard."
"There used to be Tom..Riddle, and now there is another Ian. Prince? Tsk tsk, you guys are really good." Grindelwald turned to look at Ian and slowly put away Fiendfyre.
"That's a gun!"
Ian is in shock.
He actually wanted to Avada Kedavra directly.
"I know what they want to get. In fact, these people who use Squib to find us have existed many, many years ago."
Grindelwald glanced at Ian with deep meaning, "You kids today can hardly imagine what happened to the wizards caught by these people back then... When I was at Japan, I saw them completely dissecting a wizard, and every organ was used to study why we have magic."
"Many people said that my ideas back then were very extreme, but it is obvious that some Muggle were much more extreme than me. The weak will eat the strong, which is an unavoidable conflict between different species." Grindelwald didn't know if he was waiting for this time on purpose before bringing Ian here to "encounter" this group of wizard seekers.
No matter what the situation is.
He was indeed using these people to preach to Ian, "Look at them, their immediate reaction after discovering that we are wizards already explains a lot."
"I never wanted to exterminate Muggle, but I didn't want Muggle to exterminate us... Maybe there are friendly people among Muggle, but if the initiative is on our side, I believe there will be more friendly people, not fewer. Tolerance and peace? It can only be realized 100% when we are the victors." It must be said that even after being imprisoned for many years, Grindelwald's speech ability is still as outstanding as Ian has seen in Dumbledore's memory.
"Dumbledore won't let me learn this from you."
Ian quickly carried out the old principal. He felt that he was being indoctrinated with dangerous ideas, and he did not want to be brainwashed by Grindelwald like those Acolytess.
"He also doesn't allow me to kill anyone."
Grindelwald spread his hands and looked at the unconscious people with some regret, "However, he didn't say that he wouldn't allow me to help others rejuvenate."
Okay.
Sure enough, the old guy is more ruthless.
I'm afraid this is not directly restoring other people's memories to factory settings.
"Don't worry, I'm not trying to change your mind, I'm just telling you some realistic situations." After Grindelwald said this, he did not talk about the conflict between Muggle and the wizard.
They arrived at a seemingly ordinary old shed. The walls of the old house were covered with moss, and the tiles on the roof were scattered, exposing the rafters inside. The old house was surrounded by weeds, mixed with some withered nettles, and their leaves glowed with a faint green light in the weak moonlight.
This is obviously an ominous place. One or two nocturnal creatures shuttle through this desolate place. Their screams are sharp and sad, adding a bit of horror to this gloomy scene.
"Oh, those people can't find it here even if they spend their entire lives searching. Not to mention the gap between Squib and wizards, the gap between wizards and wizards is equally huge." Grindelwald looked at the legendary family old house in front of him. It was located in the tangled trees between two steep hillsides, half hidden and half visible.
Ian also observed curiously. There were dense nettles growing around the house, reaching up to the windows, and those windows were very small and covered with thick old dirt.
There is an S-shaped dead snake nailed to the door.
It symbolizes Salazar·Slytherin Pure-blood family, this is Voldemort mother Merope Gaunt·Gaunt and uncle Morfin·Gaunt and grandfather Marvolo· The house where Gaunt lives. Perhaps the group of Muggle that Ian and Grindelwald met were the ones who heard from Voldemort's father who escaped that there had been wizards nearby.
"There are traces of magic here."
Ian waved his wand, and the hidden protective magic appeared. Grindelwald beside him nodded in approval and then raised his wand and waved it.
Immediately.
More protective magic that was not seen by Ian appeared together.
"Hiss~"
Ian has already felt how much Tom. Riddle attaches great importance to the protection here. I'm afraid those Squib plus Muggle would meet a very, very miserable end if he really found this old house. He identified the methods used in the old house. In comparison, Grindelwald's punishment just now was really the luck of those people.
"If you ask me, it's better to find a stone, make it into Horcrux and throw it into the sea." Grindelwald curled his lips and used his wand to erase all the protection. There were so many protections that even with his strength, it took a long time, which shows how crazy Tom. Riddle is.
"I think he might as well make the entire planet his own Horcrux." Ian blinked, and the old and the young started to comment on the famous You-Know-Who Voldemort.
"If he had that ability, why would he still be Horcrux?" Grindelwald pushed open the door nailed with rotten snake bones, and immediately a burst of dust from the house hit him directly.
No one has visited here for many years. Ian covered his nose in disgust. After Scourgify, he was finally able to see the layout of the room clearly - it can only be said that the furnishings in the room are really very simple, with broken chairs and a broken table everywhere.
The kerosene lampshade on the wall is also mottled, and even Scourgify has difficulty restoring it to normal. Even for Muggle, such a living environment is definitely considered poor.
It's hard to imagine that this is where descendants of Letling lived.
It can only be said that Gaunt Family was once very rich and prominent, but the property had been squandered long ago. By the time the last generation of the family arrived, they could only live in such a simple house. The last family members included father Marvolo, son Morfin and daughter Merope Gaunt. Merope Gaunt was Voldemort. The biological mother of Tom·Marvolo·Riddle.
"The things are here." Grindelwald Although he has never been here before, his eyes locked on one of the broken cabinets as soon as he entered the door.
This is probably the great thing about Seer.
"Take out the box I gave you and open it." Grindelwald walked to the cabinet, opened the drawer, and an extremely exquisite ring appeared in front of his eyes.
There was a black gemstone at the top of the ring. He did not touch this legendary treasure, but turned to look at Ian who was studying the gold box.
Ian It took a while to finally understand the working principle of this thing. When the mechanism was triggered, the inside of the cube's gold box split open like petals.
There is already a Locket--Slytherin's Locket installed inside.
Seeing Locket who was supposed to be in a certain family appear here, Ian looked a little confused. He looked up suddenly and saw Grindelwald looking at him with a half-smile.
"This thing..."
Ian's expression lost control mainly because he felt that things were a little too outrageous. Harry Potter hasn't started school yet. How come Voldemort and Horcrux have already found three?
"Put this ring with the things in your box." Grindelwald motioned Ian to walk over with his eyes, then looked at Ian and picked up Resurrection Stone from the drawer.
He obviously doesn't want to touch Horcrux.
"Although I feel like you won't be stupid, I still think I should remind you not to wear this ring, at least not until the curse on it is removed."
Grindelwald gave the instructions seriously.
Ian nodded.
He lowered his head and looked at the two Horcrux in the golden box, still feeling a little dreamy.
"Resurrection Stone, Slytherin's Locket." Grindelwald walked forward, just looking at the things in the box with calm eyes, without any of the pursuit of Deathly Hallows.
"There is a close connection between them. Our miserable Dark Lord didn't even discover this." His words made Ian slightly stunned.
"What connection?"
This is clearly an area beyond Ian's knowledge.
"I don't know either, but you can study it slowly. I just read a lot." Grindelwald spread his hands and walked directly towards the gate.
"You want to leave this thing with me?"
Ian quickly followed Grindelwald and ran out of the shack.
"Dumbledore is not willing to destroy it, and I don't want to stay here to disgust me. The only person he and I trust is you. You must not let Dumbledore see that Resurrection Stone."
"This thing can't resurrect people at all, and even the ones summoned are not the real dead." Grindelwald reminded Ian before taking out the Korean kimchi box that was Portkey.
"Wait for me."
Ian quickly raised his hand to interrupt Grindelwald's action.
Under the puzzled gaze of the teacher Defence Against the Dark Arts, Ian began to run around around Gaunt Shack, like a lost ant and looking for something.
"What are you doing?"
More than half an hour later.
Grindelwald finally couldn't help but ask. He saw Ian come back and use the things in the house to conjure various tools, and then plunged into the depths of the jungle with great excitement.
"I have to go back and prepare for tomorrow's classes!"
Grindelwald regretted that he did not spray Potions to prevent mosquitoes before going out. He couldn't help but give an unpleasant reminder to Ian who kept making various noises in the distance.
"Coming! Coming!"
Ian, sweating profusely, ran over carrying a large backpack.
"What did you do!?"
Facts have proved that Prophecy is indeed not an omniscient person. The shock and horror in Grindelwald's voice are no less than those of Snape who saw Ian boiling over Amortentia before.
No way.
Who made Grindelwald see in Ian's backpack... many good human bones, the number is terrifying, and there are hundreds of missing teeth alone.
"You dug the graves of the Gaunt Family's whole family!?"
There will always be people who are scared.
Why can't it be the first generation?
(End of chapter)
