Background

Ling Feng began as a sixteen-year-old spirit master with innate soul power of only level 3. He trained his body from an early age and deliberately acquired rings from Demon Spider-type soul beasts, seeking to evolve his Demon Spider martial soul toward the Spider Emperor bloodline. His first two rings came from a Mutated Demon Spider and a Crypt Demon Spider. 2 9 10

In Sunset Forest, he encountered the reborn Bibi Dong in the body of a ten-thousand-year Death Demon Spider. Though initially terrified, he accepted her offer of sacrifice in exchange for helping prevent the tragedies of her former life. Her remnant soul subsequently took residence in his spiritual sea and became his guide. 1 2

After obtaining the Eight Spider Lances, Ling Feng located the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well through his knowledge as a transmigrator. Ling Feng is ambitious, practical, and unusually knowledgeable about cultivation theory. He treats martial souls as entities that can be cultivated through compatible bloodlines, spirit-beast methods, physical refinement, and targeted resources. He is calm under pressure and willing to confront stronger or better-connected opponents, as shown by his challenge to Yu Xiaogang and his ability to fight across ranks against Flender.
