Qian Xunji serves as the Pope of Spirit Hall and the teacher of the young Bibi Dong. When he learns that Ling Feng possesses a genuine ten-thousand-year third soul ring, he orders Bibi Dong to return to the Spirit Academy and investigate the source of Ling Feng's unusual cultivation. He does not authorize coercion, as Ling Feng has already joined Spirit Hall. 10

He also attempts to exploit Yu Xiaogang's connection to the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan. Qian Xunji orders a subordinate to persuade the clan descendant to remain in Spirit City and join Spirit Hall, intending to use this defection to destabilize the alliance of the Upper Three Sects. 10

After Bibi Dong reports Ling Feng's cultivation theories, Qian Xunji judges them valuable to Spirit Hall's future.
