On the podium, Yu Xiaogang looked toward the students, a wave of confidence washing over his face.
Knowledge was piled like a small mountain in his mind; this was the vital capital he used to demonstrate his superiority.
"Teacher, do demons really exist?" someone below raised a hand to ask.
The other students were also filled with doubt and curiosity.
Yu Xiaogang furrowed his brows, tapped the lectern, and said sternly, "I said they exist, so they exist. Just remember that. Asking more questions—it's clear you weren't listening carefully."
The harsh reprimand caused the classroom to fall silent instantly.
Huang Yuan, Jiang Zhu, and the others all sat rigidly in their seats, not daring to ask anything further.
Although this new teacher was weak and they all looked down on him in their hearts, he was, after all, the lover of their old Dean.
Whenever they thought of Liu Erlong's explosive temper—as if she had eaten gunpowder—they didn't dare show the slightest disrespect to Yu Xiaogang.
Seeing the classroom quiet down, Yu Xiaogang was finally satisfied and continued his lecture.
Beside him, Tang San stood respectfully. His injuries had just healed, but he was not yet fit for combat, so his teacher had dragged him along to attend the cultural lesson.
Xiao Wu and the others were all at the training grounds for practical combat; as for the Book of Antiquity, they had already seen it long ago.
Tang San sneered inwardly. How much of an idiot had he been to take this guy as his master? Not only was he weak, but he was also thick-skinned, cowardly, and wretched.
Calling him "teacher" was simply a disgrace to Tang San's own reputation.
"The so-called Talismans are the power of Shendu, one of the Eight Demons. There are twelve Talismans in total, representing twelve types of power."
"They include the Rat, Rabbit, Ox, Tiger... and so on." Grandmaster spoke with his chest puffed out and head held high, while the students below listened with growing curiosity.
"The Dog Talisman grants immortality? Isn't that defying the heavens? Even gods might not be immortal."
"There are actually twelve types of Talismans? Grandmaster knows so much."
"I want the Snake Talisman; it can grant invisibility. Just thinking about it is exciting."
Huang Yuan's pupils constricted. The Ox Talisman grants infinite strength—isn't that Oscar's ability? Could it be that...
The crowd chattered incessantly, clearly fascinated by the Talismans, with some even beginning to idolize Grandmaster because of them.
Grandmaster nodded in satisfaction; this was exactly the effect he wanted.
"San, come here."
"Coming, Teacher." Hearing Grandmaster's call, Tang San hurriedly walked onto the podium.
Grandmaster stood in the center of the podium, smiled mysteriously, and said to the students, "Do you want to see a Talisman with your own eyes?"
The students were overjoyed the moment they heard this.
"What? We can actually see a real Talisman? Does Grandmaster have one?"
"No way. If Grandmaster had a Talisman, would he still be working at our small school? He would have gone to the Heaven Dou Royal Academy long ago!"
"This is great."
"What kind of Talisman is it, Grandmaster? Is it the Dragon Talisman?"
Everyone scrambled to ask questions, but Grandmaster stopped them and signaled for Tang San to demonstrate.
Tang San walked to the front, holding a Talisman with an ox shape drawn on it.
"Hiss, it's the Ox Talisman—infinite strength!" The students were deeply shocked.
"Can it really grant infinite strength?"
Tang San didn't speak; he simply punched the ground, and with a bang, he smashed a crater shaped like a spiderweb.
The surrounding walls shook, the ceiling teetered, and all the students were sent flying in disarray.
"Ah, I hit my head," a student groaned, grimacing in pain.
"Damn, it's actually real! Infinite strength—this is comparable to a Soul King's Ten Thousand Year Soul Skill!" another student stood up and said in shock.
Huang Yuan gritted his teeth in anger. It really was the Ox Talisman. So, that Oscar had been using a Talisman to fight us all along?
Where was the fairness in that!
Tang San looked at the Talisman and tucked it back into his pocket with satisfaction. It was truly a good item.
To explain the knowledge regarding Talismans to the academy students, Grandmaster had specifically borrowed Oscar's Talisman for the lesson to let Tang San demonstrate it.
Anything that falls into my hands, I won't be returning. I assume that's what my teacher intends as well!
Tang San chuckled inwardly.
Now that the Talisman was in his possession, the Immortal Herb was in his hands, and the Book of Antiquity was in Yu Xiaogang's room, obtaining them would be as easy as reaching into his own pocket. It would be perfect if he could kill the other "me."
The reason he didn't go to training was that his soul skills had changed, and it was obvious at a glance that he was the "evil" half.
If the other him died, then people would have no choice but to accept him.
It would be best to kill Oscar as well; that way, he could stay here legitimately, grow in peace, and eventually become the god of this world and conquer it entirely.
He felt a sense of triumph, the corners of his mouth curling upward.
Just as Yu Xiaogang was holding forth eloquently on the podium, a booming shout suddenly erupted from outside the window: "Tang San, get out here!"
High in the sky, Poison Douluo Dugu Bo hovered with the genuine Tang San, his expression one of fury.
He had never expected such a thing to happen; had Tang San not told him, he would never have known that a mere clone dared to attempt to devour its master.
"How are there two Tang Sans?" The crowd was dumbfounded at the sight.
"Your Excellency Dugu?" Flender and Liu Erlong rushed over upon hearing the commotion, Flender looking at him in astonishment.
"Hmph, so you are that evil clone?" Seeing Evil Tang San, Dugu Bo's rage burned even brighter.
"Senior Dugu, have you been deceived? I..."
"Silence! Do you dare to reveal your soul skills?" Dugu Bo barked, cutting off Evil Tang San's sophistry.
Evil Tang San's face darkened; now that soul skills were mentioned, he realized he could no longer hide the truth.
"Little San, could it be that you!" Yu Xiaogang looked at Tang San's grim expression in shock, unable to believe his eyes.
"That's right. Teacher, you really are a fool! You think you're qualified to be my teacher? Do you even deserve it?" Evil Tang San sneered coldly.
Since things had reached this point, he no longer intended to hide; if his identity was exposed, then so be it!
"Little San, you..." Yu Xiaogang clutched his chest in agony, as if pierced by a sharp blade.
"Xiaogang, are you alright!"
"Third Brother!" Xiao Wu looked at the sinisterly smiling Tang San, feeling completely at a loss and finding him utterly like a stranger.
"Audacious monster!" Dugu Bo charged forward immediately.
Hmph.
Tang San met him head-on, throwing a punch that shattered Dugu Bo's Poison Dragon Hammer, and poisonous mist instantly spread across the entire campus.
"Oh no, healers, come quickly!" Flender covered his nose and mouth, shouting in anxiety.
Tang San utilized the Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track to dash out from the poisonous mist, striking Dugu Bo in the chest and sending him flying backward.
"Cough, cough... how is this possible?" Dugu Bo struggled to his feet, clutching his chest in pain, blood staining the corners of his mouth. He felt as if his entire body had fallen apart.
Looking up, he saw that Evil Tang San was nowhere to be found.
In Yu Xiaogang's room, Evil Tang San blasted the door open, snatched the Book of Antiquity, and fled.
He could no longer stay at Shrek, but the world was vast and he could go anywhere; he didn't care for this place anyway.
In a surge of excitement, his Purple Demon Eye cracked through to the Mustard Seed realm. The world became even clearer in his eyes, and the mysterious microscopic world opened its gates to him.
Heh, as expected, I shouldn't have wasted my time at Shrek; this world is where I truly belong.
Tang San cast a casual glance, and it was this look that brought him a pleasant surprise.
"This is... a hundred-thousand-year soul beast? A treasure!"
Evil Tang San approached Xiao Wu.
"Third Brother?" Before Xiao Wu could react, she was knocked unconscious and carried away.
Little white rabbit, white and bright, lift up its two ears, cut the artery, cut the vein, lying still, truly cute.
Skin it, chop it into chunks, toss it into the pot to stir-fry, add water, cover the lid, sprinkle some cilantro before taking it out, turn off the heat, pick up the chopsticks, truly a delicious snack for the wine.
