Background / History
Ten years before her reunion with Magnus, Ripley was one of many young Giants captivated by his stories in Elbaf. She repeatedly demanded to join his ship, prompting Magnus to promise that he would take her aboard once she grew up—a promise he privately considered a lie to avoid conflict with the Giant Soldier Pirates. 9
When Magnus returned to Elbaf a decade later, Ripley confronted him for breaking that promise. Though initially disappointed by his aged appearance and the tiny state of his rebuilt crew, she recognized the same ambition in him that had inspired her as a child. She chose to join the White Wolf Pirates, becoming one of its earliest new-generation members. 8 9
Ripley led Magnus and Rocks through Elbaf and defied her great-great-grandfather Yoruru’s objections to joining a foreign pirate crew. Her first major assignment came after she ate the Mini Fruit: infiltrating the CP0 ship that had abducted Gulz and Haierdin. She successfully ambushed and defeated the agents, establishing herself as a combatant rather than merely a sheltered Giant of Elbaf. 13 28 30 31
During the later Marine occupation of Elbaf, Ripley returned to rally the hidden Giants and carry out Magnus’s rescue plan. She froze Katro Naz with Magnus’s specially made gauntlet, awakened Observation Haki, shrank Giant King Harald to human size, and extracted him from Marine custody. 79 85
Appearance
Ripley is a Giant woman whose natural body is roughly eighteen to twenty meters tall. She usually uses the Mini Fruit to remain near human size, making her Giant identity less immediately obvious. 10 29 73 168
- At human size, she appears as a youthful woman despite being over fifty years old; Giants regard that age as comparable to human adolescence. 37
- Her normal Giant form is the origin of her “Emperor Flower” epithet. 66
- She has a wild, energetic style and has been compared to a cheerful female leopard. 72
- In Sphinx, she wore a plush coat over denim shorts and a fitted top. 37
Personality
Ripley is warm, expressive, and playful. She readily teases Magnus about his age, complains when he pushes her training, and openly states what she wants rather than concealing her feelings. 9 38 94
Her admiration for Magnus began in childhood and matured into deep loyalty and romantic affection. She is possessive at times, but she also trusts his leadership enough to carry out dangerous plans without hesitation. 72 85 94 206
In battle, Ripley is pragmatic rather than reckless. She prioritizes her crew’s survival, uses ambushes and terrain manipulation, and recognizes when an opponent is beyond her ability to defeat directly. Against Saint Pedro, she focused on hiding Linlin and the slaves before staying behind to delay him. 31 133 137
Although she originally wanted fame and strength, Ripley eventually became less concerned with surpassing the extraordinary fighters around her. She instead chose steady improvement in her own areas of talent, particularly Mini Fruit development. 151 189 196
Abilities & Skills
Giant Physiology
Ripley possesses the natural strength, endurance, and scale of the Giant race.
- Her Giant body allows her to cross Elbaf terrain in strides that ordinary humans must run several steps to match. 10
- Her large Haki reserves remain unchanged even when she shrinks, leaving her with vastly more total Haki than a normal-sized fighter. 30
- She fought Vice Admiral Pike in a prolonged, Haki-infused brawl, with their blows producing shockwaves and gale-force winds. 57
- She can throw objects on an extreme scale, including hurling a kilometer-wide small island toward Acropolis Port. 175
Armament Haki
Ripley awakened Armament Haki before Observation Haki, using it to strengthen her naturally overwhelming physical attacks. 25
- Hero’s Spear — A Haki-infused punch used against Charlotte Linlin. 25
- Giant’s Spear — Enlarges her fist through the Mini Fruit and reinforces it with Armament Haki for a decisive strike. 163
- Giant’s Stomp — A crushing stomp that destroyed the deck of a CP0 ship and forced its injured agents to flee. 31
- Her Armament Haki remains below advanced Internal Destruction users. 166
Observation Haki
Observation Haki was initially Ripley’s greatest weakness; even after extensive training, she struggled to grasp it due to the difficulty Giants face in developing it. 25 38
- She awakened it while sensing the emotions of the Giants during the rescue of Harald. 85
- Her later intuition, paired with rapid Mini Fruit size changes, can make her movements difficult for ordinary Future Sight users to predict. 168 180
- Her foresight is a variant developed through Devil Fruit application rather than complete Future Sight. 189
Mini Fruit
Ripley’s Paramecia-type Mini Fruit allows her to alter the size of herself, people, objects, and eventually the surrounding environment. 28 151 163
- Can shrink herself to tiny sizes for infiltration, then instantly restore her Giant body for surprise attacks. 29 31
- Can enlarge individual body parts, such as restoring a Giant-sized arm to sweep away more than a hundred pirates. 39
- Can shrink allies and enemies to human size, improving Giants’ ability to fight human-sized opponents. 85
- Can create fixed shrinking zones, allowing crew members to move and train safely inside the ship. 73
- Can shrink a target’s body or only selected parts; powerful Haki can negate the effect. 85 94
- After awakening, can remotely shrink objects and assimilate the ability into terrain, creating sudden pits or restoring the ground beneath enemies. 154 163
Six Powers
Ripley has at least limited proficiency with the Six Powers.
- Soru — Used to instantly close the distance against Shimotsuki Fūya before launching Giant’s Spear. 163
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Frost Gauntlet — A Giant-sized gauntlet made by Magnus. Ripley shrank it for human-sized combat and used its remaining freezing power to immobilize Katro Naz. 85
- Sunstone — Used while tiny to adjust her aerial trajectory and land on the CP0 ship during the rescue operation. 30
Known Bounties
| Bounty | Chapter | Notes |

| Nearly 150,000,000 Beli | 154 | Reached after awakening the Mini Fruit. |
| 215,000,000 Beli | 206 | Reported as a notorious Giant pirate with a bounty exceeding 200 million Beli. |

Trivia
- Ripley was already over fifty when she first visited Sphinx, but this is still equivalent to adolescence by Giant standards. 37
- Her original Giant body—not her human-sized form—is the basis for the “Emperor Flower” epithet. 66
- She was initially considered a primarily combat-oriented Giant, but both she and Magnus later recognized that the Mini Fruit made her especially valuable in logistics and large-scale strategy. 151
