Zhao Fu broke through Heavenly Stone City's closed gate and fought his way outside, where the general identified him as the S-rank fugitive Li Wu and announced a 100,000-gold reward. Drawn by the bounty, the crowd charged him, and Zhao Fu began slaughtering them.
Zhao Fu used his newly created King's Profound Meaning: Demon Domain: Ten Thousand Burials to kill more than fifteen hundred pursuers, then tried to escape as the city's guards joined the battle. He summoned the White-Furred Monkey King to clear a path, but a powerful arrow destroyed it and continued toward him.
Zhao Fu was overwhelmed by Heavenly Stone City's three great war generals until he unleashed a terrifying power that transformed the battlefield. The chapter left his identity revealed beneath a blood-red sky as the astonished generals faced his murderous aura.
Zhao Fu lost control while wielding the Level 2 Nation-Guarding Artifact and overwhelmed Heavenly Stone City's forces. After killing Gu Feng and devastating the guards, he pursued the wounded Liu Sheng, but a powerful figure appeared in the air before he could finish him.
Zhao Fu fought Shi Jian after the Heavenly Stone City lord arrived to avenge his soldiers and generals, and Shi Jian gained the upper hand by drawing power from the city. As Shi Jian prepared to kill Zhao Fu, a golden pillar erupted from Great Qin Town, interrupting the execution and startling the other city lords.
Zhao Fu awakened the power of a Fate Clan Artifact and gained the upper hand against Shi Jian. Shi Jian summoned Heavenly Stone City's City Lord Seal and fought back, ending the chapter as he sent a green lion charging at Zhao Fu.
Zhao Fu repelled Shi Jian’s enhanced saber strike with the power of nine golden dragons, but Shi Jian then drew strength from Heavenly Stone City’s hundred thousand Tier 1 soldiers. As Shi Jian’s power surged toward a final, world-shaking attack, spectators and factions rushed to learn more about the battle.
Zhao Fu and Shi Jian fought a devastating battle, each drawing on immense power to unleash their strongest attacks. Their final clash destroyed much of Heavenly Stone City, and the battle appeared to be over, though the chapter did not reveal who survived.
News of Great Qin’s appearance spread after the battle at Heavenly Stone City, and factions began reacting to the revealed name of its inheritor. The Ying Family recruited Li Wu to pose as the Great Qin Imperial Son, ending with the announcement that the Imperial Son had returned to the Ying Family.
The Ying Family used the rumored return of the Great Qin Imperial Son to divert attention from Zhao Fu, while the Qian Family faced the consequences of provoking his faction in Heavenly Stone City. In Great Qin Town, Bai Qi and the others still had no news of Zhao Fu.
Zhao Fu recovered in a secluded valley with help from three flower fairies and persuaded them to join Great Qin. As he reflected on his severe injuries, Great Qin’s depleted fortune, and the changes in his temperament, he accepted that he could no longer turn back from the path of kingship.
After defeating Gu Feng, Zhao Fu examined his spoils and kept the City Lord Seal fragment that could help him counter Heavenly Stone City. He could not return to Great Qin until he found a Teleportation Array, so he and Mei Mei rested while he recovered.
After recovering from his injuries, Zhao Fu investigated the Lolan Ruins despite the flower fairies’ warnings and began drawing goblins away from the ruins in small groups. He succeeded in provoking a group into approaching, while the deeper ruins remained unexplored.
Zhao Fu silently killed five Goblins and discovered fragments that could form a token to enter the Gloomwood secret realm. Meanwhile, Bai Qi proposed turning Great Qin into a war-focused empire to seize population, splitting its leaders into three factions.
Great Qin’s leaders split into factions over Bai Qi’s harsh policies, but Bai Qi proceeded with his plans despite Li Si’s warning. In the Lolan Ruins, Zhao Fu defeated a Goblin squad leader and discovered that its drop could contribute to forging a legendary sword.
Zhao Fu used the Heavenly Demon Sword to kill Goblins and collect sword essence while learning to control its awakened demon. Meanwhile, Great Qin’s fully militarized forces began a swift assault on an intermediate village, and Saar led the charge toward its leader.
Great Qin's forces captured mountain villages through brutal attacks and coercion, while Zhao Fu advanced into the Lolan Ruins after clearing out the Goblins outside.
Zhao Fu fought a powerful Goblin squad inside the Lolan Ruins and defeated it using stealth, the Heavenly Demon Sword, his bow, and the Flower Fairies. He obtained an ice enchantment card and used it to add ice attacks and resistance to a blue-grade sword.
After leaving the Lolan Ruins to eat and check the real-world forum, Zhao Fu learned that people had deduced his identity and location after the Heavenly Stone City incident. He discovered that the Ying Family had announced a fake Great Qin Imperial Son’s return and planned a banquet, which he decided to ignore before going back to explore the ruins.
Wu Qingniang brought Zhao Fu to a banquet celebrating the supposed Great Qin Imperial Son, where Zhao Fu stayed composed despite being looked down on and hinted at his greater ambitions. After Su Yuyan arrived, the banquet’s protagonist entered the hall.
Li Wu returned to the Ying Family as Ying Wu and used his banquet speech to promise Great Qin’s restoration. After Wu Qingniang left with Zhao Fu, she warned him that the real Great Qin Imperial Son was dangerous and rumored to be near the Terror Forest in Eastern Azure.
Zhao Fu reassured Wu Qingniang that he would build his faction on his own, though he accepted her offer to help later, then returned to Apocalypse World to hunt Goblins. After a Goblin sounded an alarm horn, the ruins became heavily guarded, forcing Zhao Fu to change his strategy.
Zhao Fu captured goblin squads on the outskirts of the ruins and used Life and Death Contracts to force their leaders to serve him. After building a fifteen-member force, he led them in a direct attack that wiped out a twenty-goblin squad.
Zhao Fu led his goblin team into the ruins’ interior, discovered four Class Transfer Steles and a powerful Minotaur force, then began a plan to lure one Minotaur away. He successfully provoked a Minotaur on the outskirts and fled with the goblin he had used as bait.
Zhao Fu lured a frenzied Minotaur into a trap, but failed to subdue it and killed it instead. He absorbed the Ancient Power it dropped, gaining greater physical strength, and planned to prepare a different trap for the other Minotaurs.
