Background / History

The Dragon God succeeded Tiamat, the Dragon Venerable and first sovereign of the Dragon Clan. He inherited Tiamat's dying wish after witnessing Tiamat's death in the arms of the Nine-Colored Dragon, then expanded the Dragon Clan into the universe's greatest power. 2

To honor Tiamat, he forged the Dragon Rising Pillar from his own divine marrow, stellar essence, the souls of dragons slain in war, and Tiamat's remains. The artifact was intended to give every dragon a path toward bloodline evolution. 3 6

After the Dragon Clan's catastrophic war with the gods, accounts describe the Dragon God as having been slain by the Tri-Realm Judgment Sword wielded by the Asura God, God of Goodness, and God of Evil. 39 Another account states that he later gathered the faith of the God Realm and the power of thirty-two God Kings to forge a God Star, hoping to ascend dimensions and reverse the past tragedy. The attempt failed, and he took his own life in despair. 2

More than one hundred thousand years later, the Dragon God sensed Tiamat's reincarnation as Qian Jue. He split his soul: his main soul reincarnated separately, while a fragment entered Qian Jue's Coiling Dragon Staff, devoured its original Heaven-Awakening Holy Golden Dragon soul, and transformed the staff into its nine-colored form. 2

Manifestation

The Dragon God appears within the Coiling Dragon Staff as a faint divine consciousness. His presence changes the staff's scales from gold and gray to nine-colored divine light. 2

During Qian Jue's martial soul awakening, the Dragon God's fragment recognizes Tiamat's reincarnated soul. It enters the Coiling Dragon Staff, replaces its former dragon soul, and promises that Qian Jue will not have to struggle as he did in his past life. 2

Legacy of the Dragon Rising Pillar

Qian Jue's second martial soul reveals the Dragon God's legacy: an artifact created to elevate the Dragon Clan's weaker bloodlines. Its domain and cultivation effects become central to Qian Jue's ability to empower dragon-type soul masters and spirit souls. 3 6

Concealed Presence

The Dragon God remains hidden while Qian Jue grows. He becomes alarmed when Shu's time-based authority suggests the possibility of tracing martial souls back to their draconic origins, but does not reveal himself because Shu recognizes Qian Jue rather than him. 44
