Background

Qian Jue is a transmigrator who retains memories of a previous existence as Tiamat, the sovereign of the Dragon Clan and a half-step Supreme God King. In his current life, he was taken from an orphanage by Long Yeyue, who became his adoptive guardian. Long Yeyue subjected him to neglect and violence, including pushing him down and spilling scalding porridge over him; Qian Jue used a wisp of controlled soul power to suppress the resulting injuries and resolved to escape her care. 1

At his martial soul awakening, Qian Jue manifested the Coiling Dragon Staff, which mutated into a nine-colored form, and subsequently discovered his second martial soul, the Dragon Rising Pillar. He joined the Spirit Pagoda to obtain resources and soul spirits rather than depend on Long Yeyue. 2 3
