The Black Lotus awakens alongside Qian Renyuan's Twelve-Winged Destruction Angel, making him the bearer of twin god-tier martial souls. Its first full manifestation blankets the Pope Palace in darkness and is recognized by Qian Daoliu as a god-level Black Lotus spirit. 2

During the conflict between Bibi Dong and Qian Daoliu, it instinctively draws in the negative aura leaking from Bibi Dong's Rakshasa Evil Intent. Qian Renyuan subsequently discovers that darkness, sinister energy, and negative emotions can serve as nourishment for it. 2 3

The Lotus later proves capable of consuming more than soul power: it devours a Datura Snake's soul ring, extracts poison from Dugu Yan without destroying the poison fused to her cultivation, and refines the uncontrolled toxins within Dugu Bo while preserving the pure poison source of his martial soul. 23 33 40

Appearance

The Black Lotus is a palm-sized lotus that manifests above Qian Renyuan's left hand. It is black as ink, marked by dark purple-gold patterns that later develop into dark-gold veins across its petals. 2 27
