Background / History

Leugocyte awakened as Lu Chen’s martial soul during his Spirit Awakening at the Spirit City Awakening Temple. Its manifestation caused a colossal phantom to appear above Spirit City, drawing the attention of Bibi Dong, Qian Daoliu, Golden Crocodile Douluo, and other powerful figures. 3 4

It resides within Lu Chen’s sea of consciousness as a vast, sacred, and oppressive presence. During Lu Chen’s awakening, it showed him a vision of becoming a dark-purple cloud-like energy body and devouring a desolate planet. 4

Although Lu Chen initially could not consciously use its devouring power, Leugocyte’s presence suppressed the Rakshasa Evil Thought affecting Bibi Dong. This influence contributed to Bibi Dong accepting Lu Chen as her personal disciple. 6 7 9

Leugocyte directly intervened during Lu Chen’s absorption of the Hell Demon Dragon’s ten-thousand-year soul ring. Within Lu Chen’s sea of consciousness, it defeated the soul beast’s residual will using Genesis Elegy, allowing the absorption to succeed. 25 26

At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Leugocyte awakened again and guided Lu Chen to the lake bottom, where the remains of the Fire Dragon King and Ice Dragon King lay.
