Background / History

Aether and his twin sister, Lumine, attempt to leave Teyvat together. Tang Hao appears on their escape route claiming to have come to escort them out, but Aether and Lumine respond with immediate suspicion. 2

The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles intercepts the twins, declaring that their journey has ended. Aether and Lumine evade her dark-red cubes with manifested light wings and weapons, then attempt a coordinated attack from behind. 2 4

The Sustainer overwhelms them within seconds, sealing both twins into rhombic crystals and collecting them. 4 Lumine later remains free and continues searching for Aether, believing that information from a person at Wangshu Inn may lead her to him. 32

Personality

Aether is alert and distrustful toward unexpected outsiders. When Tang Hao claims to know of the twins' attempt to leave Teyvat, Aether immediately questions his motives and treats him as a potential threat. 2

Despite the danger posed by the Sustainer, he acts in coordination with Lumine rather than retreating, joining her in an attempt to strike their opponent. 2 4
