Background / History
At the Battle of Jialing Pass, the Heaven Dou Empire received one of the portals opened by the Heavenly Dao. Emperor Xue Beng treated its promised national-destiny reward as an opportunity to elevate his reign, immediately ordering a Titled Douluo to seize the entry slot. Tang Hao entered before any other Heaven Dou candidate could be considered. 1
Tang Hao's death in the mission to escort the Traveler Twins severely changed the empire's approach to later portals. The empire lost its foremost mortal combatant, while its soul masters collectively suffered a soul-power reduction despite the first-mission protection granted by the Heavenly Dao. 4
