Background / History

Lumine and her twin, Aether, were preparing to leave Teyvat when Tang Hao appeared on their route claiming that he had come to escort them away. Distrusting the unexpected outsider, Lumine demanded to know whether he meant to block their path. 2

The Sustainer of Heavenly Principles interrupted their escape attempt, declaring that the twins' journey would end there. Lumine and Aether deployed light wings and glowing golden swords, evaded the Sustainer's red cubes, and attempted to close in on her; both were ultimately sealed inside rhombic crystals. 2 4

Lumine later reappeared at Stormterror's Lair, confusing the Douluo participants who had witnessed her capture. Hearing them mention the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles, she suspected they were connected to Tang Hao and agreed to cooperate temporarily against Dvalin in exchange for information. 11 12

After fighting beside Venti to clear Dvalin's poisoned blood, Lumine was left behind when Tianfeng Douluo and Bai He were returned to their world before answering her questions. 13

Lumine is a golden-haired young woman with an elegant, white traveler’s dress and a refined bearing. Her hair is medium-length, softly curled, and light gold. 2

Personality

Lumine is highly vigilant toward unfamiliar people, particularly after the intervention of Tang Hao and the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles. When she learns that Douluo participants know the Sustainer’s title, she immediately presses them for answers rather than accepting their explanations. 2 12

Her search for Aether drives many of her decisions. She is willing to work with Tianfeng Douluo and Bai He against Dvalin, investigate Chen Fan’s knowledge, and attend the Rite of Descension in hopes of finding information about her brother. 12 13 29 32

She is also persistent in battle. After Chen Fan disarms her and paralyzes her arm, she continues pursuing him with her Anemo burst rather than retreating. 29
