Background

The Sea God had previously left his bloodline on the Douluo Continent. When Tang Wulin's Sea God bloodline awakened alongside the bloodlines of Asura and Destruction, he sensed the resonance and projected his divine sense toward the lower realm. His divine sense was caught in the collision between Asura and the God of Destruction and was annihilated before he could investigate further. 90

The God Realm Hub later identified Tang Wulin as the source of the call. The Sea God was shocked to find that Tang Wulin carried his bloodline, the bloodlines of Asura and the God of Destruction, the Golden Dragon King's bloodline, and the Goddess of Life's blessing. 91

Personality

The Sea God is outspoken about being ignored and deeply dissatisfied when the God Kings discuss Tang Wulin's future without consulting him. He protests Asura's plan to claim Tang Wulin as a successor and resents being treated as insignificant despite his divine status. 92

He is highly invested in finding a successor capable of elevating the Sea God divine position. This makes him persistent toward Tang Wulin, whom he regards as an exceptional candidate due to his Sea God bloodline and Golden Dragon King bloodline. 122 131
