Background / History
Tang San enters Notting Academy with Old Jack, where he is initially treated as a low-status commoner by the gatekeeper. Tang Wulin intervenes, and Tang San feels an immediate familiarity and reverence toward him through their Blue Silver Emperor bloodline connection. He accepts Tang Wulin as his master. 1
Tang Wulin identifies Tang San as a twin martial soul user. Tang San reveals his second martial soul, the Clear Sky Hammer, and learns its identity and standing as the continent's foremost tool martial soul. Under Tang Wulin's direction, he chooses to develop Blue Silver Grass first, aiming to evolve it through vitality accumulation rather than treating it as a weak martial soul. 2 3
In the Star Dou Great Forest, Tang San consumes Whale Glue to strengthen his body, then absorbs a high-age plant-type first ring. The process begins awakening his Blue Silver Emperor bloodline and sets his Blue Silver Grass on the path toward the Blue Silver King. 4 5
After obtaining his mother's Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone, Tang San evolves his martial soul into the Blue Silver King and reaches level 20. He entrusts Ah Yin to Tang Wulin's care and later accompanies his teacher into the Star Dou Great Forest to seek his second soul ring. 19 20
At the Heaven Dou Great Soul Fighting Arena, Tang San defeats Yu Tianheng without initially using his martial soul, earning the title Thousand-Hand Asura. He later crushes Yu Tianheng again using his soul skills and Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, exposing a thousand-year second soul ring and becoming widely known in Heaven Dou City. 49 50 55 56
Tang San later confronts his biological father, Tang Hao, after Hao attempts to discredit Tang Wulin. He rejects Hao's claims and affirms Tang Wulin as his true father, attacking Tang Hao and Tang Yuehua with Blue Silver Grass techniques before Dugu Bo intervenes. 95 96
Five years later, Tang San becomes a rank-fifty Soul King candidate at the age of twelve. Tang Wulin takes him to the Blue Silver Forest, where a Blue Silver King sacrifices itself as Tang San's fifth soul ring and drives his martial soul's final evolution into the Blue Silver Emperor. 106 111 112
Following the evolution, Tang San and Tang Wulin formally acknowledge one another as father and son. Tang San vows to become stronger enough to protect his new family, while Tang Wulin publicly accepts him as his son. 113
Tang San later defeats the combined elite team of the Four Elements Academies alone, using his evolved Blue Silver Emperor and True Thousand-Hand technique to overwhelm the opponents' combined elemental and martial-soul-fusion attacks. 144 145 146
After learning further of Tang Hao's conduct, Tang San breaks through to level 54 and kneels before Tang Wulin to swear that he will personally kill Tang Hao and clear Ah Yin's name. He subsequently joins Qian Renxue in confronting Tang Hao when Tang Chen appears alongside Tang Hao and Tang Yuehua. 148 164
Tang Wulin gives Tang San the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, the Sea God's inheritance token. Though initially reluctant to accept an opportunity he considers too precious for himself, Tang San ultimately claims it with his blood at Tang Wulin's insistence. 155

He is perceptive and increasingly mature, able to recognize manipulation from Yu Xiaogang and Tang Hao. However, he can also be fiercely hostile and impulsive when he believes Tang Wulin has been insulted or threatened. 8 9 95 96
Tang San is deeply driven by the need for familial belonging and Tang Wulin's approval. After being formally accepted as Tang Wulin's son, he becomes determined to protect his family and bear the name of Tang Wulin's successor without defeat. 113 141
Despite his usual humility toward Tang Wulin, Tang San has considerable confidence in his own future and strength. He believes he will become a god, and he is willing to confront the Four Elements Academies alone. 143 144
