Zabuza's gaze darkened.
Shin-getsu said,
"This sentence being spread around will do more than you killing ten hunter-nin."
Haku understood at once.
"There were already people within Hidden Mist who doubted the Bloody Mist policy."
"If they hear this..."
Shin-getsu nodded.
"They'll think for themselves."
Zabuza grinned.
"Interesting."
"You want Hidden Mist to fall into chaos on its own?"
Shin-getsu said,
"No."
"I want those being suppressed to know they aren't the only ones who have doubts."
Zabuza fell silent for a moment.
Haku looked at Shin-getsu with greater seriousness.
This was not mere provocation.
It was tossing a seed into Hidden Mist's long-rotten soil.
The Bloody Mist policy had oppressed too many people.
Bloodline families had been hunted down.
Ninja Academy students had slaughtered one another.
There were more and more rogue ninja.
If word spread that the Fourth Mizukage was being controlled, then even without proof, it would be enough to set many people on edge.
Zabuza hefted his sword onto his shoulder.
"Fine."
"I'll take the pursuit order."
"Whoever comes, dies."
Shin-getsu glanced at him.
"Don't kill them too quickly."
Zabuza frowned.
"What do you mean?"
"Leave a few alive."
"Let them take the words back."
Zabuza said impatiently,
"What a pain."
Haku said softly,
"I'll remind Mr. Zabuza."
Shin-getsu nodded.
That would do.
Naruto, listening from the side, only understood half of it.
He scratched his head.
"So, are we friends now?"
Zabuza gave him a cold look.
"Who said I'm friends with you?"
Naruto pointed at Haku.
"Haku is."
Haku smiled and nodded.
"If Naruto-kun is willing."
Naruto immediately broke into a grin.
"Of course I am!"
Then he looked at Zabuza again.
"Then you're a friend of a friend."
Zabuza: "..."
He suddenly felt that this blond brat was even more annoying than Shin-getsu.
