Shisui is a young Uchiha ninja with black hair tied behind his head and a notably approachable demeanor compared with many of his clansmen. He is approximately seventeen or eighteen years old when he visits Shingetsu in the hospital. 8

Personality

Shisui is gentle, sincere, and quick to shoulder responsibility. After Shingetsu is attacked inside the Uchiha compound, Shisui apologizes for the clan's failure to protect him and says he would do everything in his power to save him. 9

He initially prioritizes peace between Konoha and the Uchiha, believing that mutual restraint can prevent further suffering. This outlook leaves him vulnerable to accepting sacrifices by his own clan for the so-called greater good. 9

Shingetsu's questions gradually alter Shisui's stance. By the time Root's surveillance, stolen Sharingan, and the Night Owl Plan are exposed, Shisui no longer dismisses the threat to the Uchiha as speculation; he places greater trust in the clan and actively opposes Root. 21 45 48

Though he remains compassionate, Shisui becomes markedly more decisive after Danzō's ambush. He openly refuses to yield when Danzō attempts to flee, joins the effort to expose the Uchiha Stone Tablet's manipulation, and fights alongside his clansmen against Root remnants and later threats. 51 55 57 64

Shisui visits the injured Shingetsu after the Root abduction attempt, praises his survival and Sharingan awakening, and apologizes for the clan's failure to protect him. 8 9 Shingetsu directly challenges Shisui's belief that the Uchiha should continually yield for peace and warns against controlling comrades' wills through Kotoamatsukami. 9

Root Infiltration and Clan Conflict

During the exposure of Uchiha Shinsuke's Root connection, Shisui praises Shingetsu's restraint and analytical judgment. Though meant sincerely, his praise further elevates Shingetsu's position within the clan. 36

When Shingetsu lays a trap for Root's External Liaison Office contact, Shisui serves as secret protection and is tasked with preventing the target's escape using Body Flicker. 39

Root Evacuation and Danzō's Ambush
