"Say, Kotetsu Hagane, right? You just said there's no record of me leaving, didn't you?" Uchiha Gen suddenly stepped forward to ask.

"Uh? Yes, there really isn't!" To be safe, Kotetsu Hagane specifically flipped through the recent Konoha exit records again; there truly was no signature from Uchiha Gen.

"No exit record, what does that mean? It means I didn't go out! If I didn't go out, on what grounds are you stopping me from entering?" Uchiha Gen laid out his logic.

"Huh??? Is that how it works? It actually sounds kind of reasonable!" It was the first time Kotetsu Hagane had encountered such logic, and for a moment, he didn't know how to refute it.

"But I clearly saw you returning from outside the village. This counts as leaving without authorization, and you're even bringing an elite jonin from Sunagakure with you. To put it bluntly, this is unauthorized collusion with the enemy!" The honest Izumo Kamizuki, standing to the side, patiently explained.

"Well~ you must have been standing guard for too long and saw wrong. I've been staying perfectly well in the Uchiha compound the whole time and never left. If you don't believe me, you can ask any Uchiha clansman!" Uchiha Gen shamelessly bluffed.

"Then what about her? How do you explain her?" Izumo Kamizuki pointed at Pakura, who was standing to the side. Are they really treating us like we're blind? This is somewhat insulting!

"Her? Didn't she go on a diplomatic mission to Sunagakure with the Fourth Hokage earlier? An accidental encounter, two lonely souls—you could call it love at first sight, or perhaps lust at first sight! The rest is personal privacy. But even I didn't expect Pakura would be willing to abandon Sunagakure and join the big family of Konoha for the sake of our love! I'm quite touched myself. Pakura rolled her eyes at his words.

The Fourth Hokage had arrived.

"Lord Fourth!" Kotetsu Hagane and Izumo Kamizuki hurriedly stepped forward to greet him.

"Gen, what is this?" Namikaze Minato was also full of confusion. His subordinates had suddenly reported that Uchiha Gen had left the village without permission and brought Pakura from Sunagakure back with him! Although Uchiha Gen's gaze toward Pakura had indeed been strange during the mission to Sunagakure, wasn't this moving a bit too fast? You must remember that saving Kushina was all thanks to my contribution!" Uchiha Gen said, digging up old favors while using his past deeds to demand a reward.

"Uh, but Pakura is an elite jonin from Sunagakure! Joining Konoha as a rogue ninja is somewhat suspicious, and it won't be easy to explain to Sunagakure! By the way, after talking for so long, I've been meaning to ask: what is going on with your current state?" "What do you mean 'add them later'? Besides me, who else in Konoha can use the Spirit Transformation Technique? You're clearly targeting me, Lord Fourth!" Despite saying this, Uchiha Gen's expression remained quite calm. Just kidding, with this experience, next time I'll just skip the main gate! If it weren't for the fact that Pakura needed registration and proof, I probably wouldn't have been exposed this time.

"Alright, everything is for the sake of Konoha, not targeting anyone. We still need specific regulations! Who knows, maybe someone else will learn the Spirit Transformation Technique in the future? As for Pakura, she can be registered. We'll put the household registration directly under your name. Since you'll be changing her surname to Uchiha when you get married anyway, you might as well change it early. We can hide it for as long as we can! But if Sunagakure finds out, you'll have to handle the trouble yourself!" Namikaze Minato gave up on the matter. Anyway, I might not be able to beat him, and with Uchiha Gen's strength, if he really wanted to do something to Konoha, I couldn't stop him!

Besides, after observing him for a while, Uchiha Gen isn't that kind of person. Since that's the case, why not take the opportunity to do him a favor?
