Background / History

Dai Mubai was a student of Shrek Academy and a drinking companion of Bai Yu before Bai Yu’s return to the academy. He was already acquainted with Zhu Zhuqing when she arrived at Shrek, but his habit of seeking women and his lack of commitment left their relationship strained. 14 23

As a younger prince of the Star Luo Empire, Dai Mubai faced a succession struggle against his elder brother, Dai Weisi. Fearful of being discovered and killed by his father and brother, he chose to be castrated and cultivate Bai Yu’s Sunflower Manual in pursuit of survival, power, and a future chance at the throne.
