Background / History
Kami's Lookout is an ancient palace suspended high above Earth amid the clouds. Jiang Che first reaches it after defeating Vegeta and seeking the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; Mr. Popo meets him at its stone steps before Dende grants him an audience. 12 13
Dende allows Jiang Che to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber despite recognizing the danger posed by his immense power. Jiang Che trains there for two years, then departs after learning that hostile energies are approaching Earth. 13 15
Following the conflict with Baby, Jiang Che returns to the Lookout and informs Dende that the Black Star Dragon Balls have disappeared and that Earth will be destroyed within one month. Dende accepts responsibility for warning Goku and the others, while Jiang Che is given a secluded room and renewed access to the Time Chamber. 47 48
