Background / History

Kami's Lookout is an ancient palace suspended high above Earth amid the clouds. Jiang Che first reaches it after defeating Vegeta and seeking the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; Mr. Popo meets him at its stone steps before Dende grants him an audience. 12 13

Dende allows Jiang Che to use the Hyperbolic Time Chamber despite recognizing the danger posed by his immense power. Jiang Che trains there for two years, then departs after learning that hostile energies are approaching Earth. 13 15

Following the conflict with Baby, Jiang Che returns to the Lookout and informs Dende that the Black Star Dragon Balls have disappeared and that Earth will be destroyed within one month. Dende accepts responsibility for warning Goku and the others, while Jiang Che is given a secluded room and renewed access to the Time Chamber. 47 48

Appearance

Kami's Lookout is a quiet, isolated complex above the clouds, marked by weathered stonework and an ancient atmosphere.

Jiang Che's First Training

The Lookout serves as Jiang Che's first dedicated training base. Dende permits him to enter the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, where he adapts to tenfold gravity, practices basic combat movements, and works to stabilize his Super Saiyan transformation. 13

Departure Against Baby

After two years in the chamber, Jiang Che leaves the Lookout with his ki completely concealed and detects the malicious energies approaching Earth. 15

Black Star Dragon Ball Crisis

After Baby's defeat, Jiang Che returns to warn Dende of Earth's approaching destruction. The Lookout becomes the point from which Dende alerts Goku, Gohan, and Goten to begin their search for the Black Star Dragon Balls. 47 48

Jiang Che re-enters the Hyperbolic Time Chamber to master the system-provided Tenfold Kaioken and maximize his strength before confronting Beerus. 47 49
