He entered the Meditation Hut, immediately entered Transcendental State, and began to ponder the accumulated problems and confusions.

Comparing the insights given by Andros and Gellert Grindelwald, he felt he had benefited greatly after the Transcendental State ended twenty minutes later.

I stayed in the Meditation Hut for another hour before leaving the Study Space.

It was 10:00 AM.

Tom left the orphanage, pointed his wand at himself twice, and soon his appearance began to change rapidly. His hair, facial features, and body shape became like Michael's.

Gellert Grindelwald had already mastered the Human Transfiguration he was good at, so the original Michael naturally had no reason to live.

With his Transfiguration and obfuscation abilities, he could easily handle any authentication in the Muggle world.

He stroked the sleeping Usachi in his arms. The little guy was curled up in a ball, his tail wrapped around his fingers, sleeping soundly.

"Come on, let me show you the world."

Tom, disguised as Michael, strolled leisurely into the investment company. In the eyes of the investment company, Michael's identity was a piece of easy money.

The investment manager who received him beamed and rushed over to deliver the good news. "Sir, the £40,000 you invested at Christmas, leveraged, has now grown to £600,000!"

Most of the profits came from the currency market; Tom made a big profit.

He listened as the middle-aged man in the gray suit across from him talked incessantly about "diversified asset allocation" and "risk hedging," and revised his investment plan accordingly.

Tom subtly gave the manager a mental hint, ensuring the guy wouldn't dare mess around and would obediently carry out orders. Then, pocketing the check, he made his escape.

Tom took out 200,000 and thought about buying a house first. He couldn't keep living in the orphanage or always mooch off Hermione's house; that would be too embarrassing.

London house prices are ridiculously cheap right now. £200,000 can buy a decent detached house in an average area, and even a townhouse in a prime location.

In affluent areas like Westminster or Chelsea, you could easily afford a down payment, and in twenty or thirty years, the property value could increase six or seven times, making a sure profit.

He plans to make a down payment in the city center to settle down, and with the investment company's cash flow, getting a loan will be easy.

However, he didn't have time to deal with buying a house today. He had made plans to have lunch with Hermione. Tom went out, turned into an alley, and transformed into his own appearance.

At 11:15, Tom arrived at the agreed location on time: a small bookstore next to the Leaky Cauldron.

Hermione arrived earlier than him and was engrossed in reading a thin book, "The Complete Book of Britain Cuisine".

She wore a white dress today, her hair was tied in a ponytail, and she also wore a round straw hat. She looked incredibly youthful and beautiful.

No one would have guessed that this was a little witch who could recite spellbooks by heart.

When she saw Tom, she stuffed the book into her bag, jogged over, and said with a bright smile, "Tom, I thought you'd be arriving right on time!"

Tom grinned and leaned closer. "Someone's inviting me to dinner, shouldn't I be eager? What if I'm late and the rich lady won't give me any food?"

Hermione snorted and tilted her chin up in a haughty manner, "In the Wizarding World, I might be dirt poor, but in the Muggle world, I could easily afford to treat you to hundreds of meals!"

Ten minutes later, Tom stood in front of McDonald's gleaming gold "M" logo, his face turning green.

He glared at Hermione with a betrayed look in his eyes. "This is the feast you were talking about? McDonald's?"

Tom sighed, rubbing his forehead. No wonder he saw her looking at that weird cookbook earlier; she was brewing up a big surprise, which turned out to be McDonald's.

He grabbed Hermione's soft little hand, raised an eyebrow, and said, "Want something fresh? Come with me, but you'll be paying, okay?"

He's a pro at living off women.

Hermione blushed and nodded, letting him lead her. Her heart was pounding so hard it felt like it would jump out of her chest. She was dazed and confused as he led her to the entrance of a Chinese restaurant.

Dragon Tea House, a Cantonese-style tea restaurant. Tom ordered his food, and the dishes were served quickly: tripe, chicken feet, shrimp dumplings, and rice noodle rolls, filling the table.

Hermione looked at the tripe and chicken feet with a reluctant expression, but Tom picked up a chicken foot and ate it with great relish. "You should try it, it's delicious."

Hermione took a tentative bite; it was mostly bone with little meat, and crunchy to chew, but the taste was indeed quite good, with a strong savory sauce flavor.

She picked up another one, and this time she ate it even cleaner than Tom.

Dissatisfied with his chopsticks skills, which he had just learned to use, he threw them aside, grabbed a knife and fork, and devoured the food in Wind Sweeps Away Clouds.

We ordered two more plates of chicken feet and tripe, plus three custard buns, and were so full we kept burping.

Hermione invited Tom to her house, saying, "My father has prepared several types of toothpaste for you; let's go home and get them!"

Tom didn't refuse; he also had a gift to give to Mr. Granger.

Back home, Mr. Granger was incredibly hospitable, leading the two inside. Hermione, familiar with the place, went to get some water.

Tom seized the opportunity to take out the gift he had prepared, "Hello, Mr. Granger, thank you so much for checking my teeth last time."

"This is a small gift for you, just a token of my appreciation."

"Of course, of course," Mr. Granger smiled gently. "You're Hermione's friend, so you're our friend."

Tom handed a box about the size of his palm to Mr. Granger.

Mr. Granger opened the box, inside was a white bone, about the size of a thumb, with a smooth, jade-like surface and a faint luster.

"What kind of animal's teeth are these?" Mr. Granger's eyes widened. The teeth were longer than his arm, twice as thick, and gleaming with sharpness.

"Dragon teeth, after special treatment, will not deteriorate or emit any odor; placing them in the home can ward off evil spirits."

"Uncle, I hope you like it." Tom smiled sweetly.

"I love it! I love it so much!" Mr. Granger held the dragon tooth so dearly that he wished he could frame it on the spot.

Hermione brought in a glass of water and saw her father holding a giant tooth with a look of utter disbelief; the scene was incredibly bizarre.

"Won't giving this to Dad violate the Ministry of Magic's rules?" Hermione whispered to Tom, her face full of worry.

"This isn't a magical item, it's just a piece of material," Tom said, subtly changing the subject and successfully putting Hermione at ease.

Mr. Granger played with the dragon tooth for a long time before solemnly placing it in the most prominent position in the display case.

While Tom was drinking tea, something suddenly moved in his pocket.

A small black head popped out of the pocket, with two pointed horns on its head, staring with big, wet eyes, curiously looking around.

Usachi woke up, crawled out of the pocket again, stretched her whole body out, wrapped herself around Tom's arm, and squeaked twice at Hermione.

Hermione nearly dropped the cup in her hand. "What is this?"

"Usachi, my pet."

Hermione's eyes lit up. "Where did this little guy come from? I've never seen it before. What breed is it?"
