French Black Rose
Vogel sneered, his expression full of disdain:
"Otherwise, he couldn't have learned all those skills from that hypocrite Albus Dumbledore, could he?"
"That old hypocrite, he keeps saying love can change the world, and he even locks all Dark Magic in the Restricted Section."
"The teaching quality at Hogwarts is so bad now that it's unbearable. Back in the day, someone like Scamander would never have come along and ruined our plans."
Vinda's expression was calm, his tone revealing neither joy nor anger. "Decades ago, wasn't he exactly like this?"
"But Britain is really strange; a top wizard seems to appear every now and then."
"Albus Dumbledore, McGonagall, Scamander, and Voldemort, and now there's Riddle."
Vogel nodded in deep agreement; the overall level of the Britain wizarding community was not very good.
However, the constant emergence of geniuses has significantly raised the public's perception of them.
"So, Vinda, do you want to go out now?" Vogel asked casually.
"Where is the master?" Vinda asked in return, a hint of expectation in his eyes.
Vogel shook his head and repeated Tom's exact words:
"Young Master Riddle believes that there are too many corrupt elements within the Acolyte, making them unsuitable for important tasks."
"The most urgent task is to regroup, not to think about getting the adults out of prison."
"I see!" Vinda nodded thoughtfully. "It seems they look down on us losers."
Vogel grinned but didn't say anything. It sounded harsh, but it was the truth.
As expected of the French Black Rose, she understood his words immediately, even though they were spoken so subtly.
"In that case, I'll keep the wand for now," Vinda suddenly said.
"Vinda?" Vogel was stunned. Was this a sign of defiance?
"You want young master Riddle to take over and see the Acolyte in this sorry state, and then have to personally go through the trouble of integrating and managing them?"
Vinda stood up and paced slowly around the room, exuding an aura of authority. "Then what use are we, his subordinates?"
"What he needs now is a strong, capable assistant who can stand on his own, not a bunch of burdens who will only hold him back. I will handle the integration of the Acolyte."
"Since the master has chosen him as his disciple, it shows that young master Riddle's talent is extraordinary. We must not let these trivial matters hinder him."
Vogel was completely convinced and had the utmost respect for Vinda.
The scene shifts to Nicolas Flamel's estate.
Tom rubbed his sore eyes and begged for mercy with a wry smile.
"Teacher, there's really no need to be in such a hurry. IChat Notebook to become truly widespread."
"Don't worry, I'll definitely burn a few copies for you at your grave then."
Nicolas Flamel glared at him and snapped, "You little brat, are you cursing your teacher to die young?"
"No way!" Tom looked confused, scratching his head. "The Philosopher's Stone is gone, so you mean, uh, huh?"
"Didn't Albus Dumbledore tell you? I've already concocted Elixir of Life for future use, specifically to handle my affairs after death. Living another fifty years is no problem at all."
Tom: "Huh? Oh!"
Fifty years? Handling the aftermath?
The aftermath was quite a long affair...
Suddenly, Tom narrowed his eyes and looked at Nicolas Flamel suspiciously. "But I remember that the Elixir of Life only has a shelf life of three years?"
"Don't tell me you can't think of a way to extend the shelf life?" Nicolas Flamel rolled his eyes at him, too lazy to waste any more words.
He waved his hand to shoo them away, "Alright, don't forget alchemy after you go to school."
"From now on, Parker will be with you. If he needs anything, just have him contact me. Now get out of here!"
"Okay, I'll be going now."
Before leaving, Tom first visited Mrs. Perenelle Flamel and promised to return for Christmas before departing the manor.
With the entry and exit permit granted by Mrs. Greengrass, Tom Apparition back to Britain without triggering any barrier alarms.
Since he was already too late to catch the Hogwarts train, Tom decided to give up.
He first used Two-way Mirror to explain the situation to Daphne, and after confirming that Mrs. Greengrass was home, he didn't rush over.
We first went to Diagon Alley to do some shopping before leisurely making our way to the Greengrass Manor.
"Why didn't you take the train?" Mrs. Greengrass asked, somewhat surprised to see Tom suddenly appear.
"Professor Nicolas Flamel insisted on making me study alchemy, and before I knew it, we'd been running out of time," Tom casually lied.
"Should I send someone to take you to school?" Mrs. Greengrass asked with concern.
She knew that Tom was learning from Nicolas Flamel and was aware of the two solutions to the Blood Curse, but unfortunately neither was realistic; she could only wait patiently.
"No need to bother." Tom shook his head. "I can Apparate to Hogsmeade myself in Apparition, it'll be quick."
Mrs. Greengrass nodded, took a letter from the drawer, and handed it to Tom.
"This was sent from France, it wasn't signed, but it has your name on it."
"Thank you, Auntie." Tom took the letter, opened it, and read it through, his expression remaining unchanged.
The letter was written by Vinda Rosier, beginning with a brief greeting, followed by a statement of his position:
She's willing to help integrate the Acolyte and will never hold Tom back.
If Tom disagreed, she immediately sent someone to deliver the Replica Wand, her tone respectful and humble.
Tom was overjoyed. Only a fool would refuse such a perfect tool that was offered to him so readily.
As long as Gellert Grindelwald holds onto his trump card, Vinda Rosier has no chance of challenging him for power.
If he really had that kind of ambition, he would have integrated the Acolyte himself decades ago; it wouldn't be his turn.
"Auntie, if I receive any more unsigned letters like this in the future, please put them in a Greengrass family envelope and forward them to Hogwarts for me."
A small flame ignited at Tom's fingertips, and the letter he had just finished reading instantly turned to ashes.
Mrs. Greengrass didn't ask any further questions and readily agreed.
The most dangerous place is the safest place; Albus Dumbledore wouldn't be so idle as to go through his letters.
Tom did this because he didn't want people to know about his frequent contacts with people abroad.
"By the way, Auntie, this is the goods the Ministry of Magic wants. Please give it to Madam Bones."
Tom brought out the fruits of his summer vacation: two hundred Anti-Disarm Bracelet, and then pulled out a special edition.
The special edition bracelet is just as exquisite as the regular version, and it is also inlaid with six gems, each of which can release Iron Armor Charm equivalent to his normal spellcasting power.
The gem will shatter upon activation, but it can be re-inserted and replaced, making it an absolute lifesaver.
Mrs. Greengrass immediately put it on her hand, smiling and praising it:
"I didn't expect you actually made two hundred over the summer. Amelia Bones told me a few days ago that there was no rush and it was okay to deliver them later."
"I'll deliver the goods to the Ministry of Magic tomorrow, and the money will be transferred directly to your account."
"Money isn't urgent," Tom waved his hand, asking the most crucial question of the trip.
