What a Coincidence

Harry finally made it through a terrible week and was looking forward to sleeping in and relaxing over the weekend.

As he fell asleep, he felt the bed getting heavier and heavier, making it hard for him to breathe.

Helplessly, he opened his eyes and saw a dark shadow completely covering him.

"Holy crap!"

Harry was jolted awake and his head slammed directly into the dark figure.

Upon seeing who it was, he was stunned. "Oliver? What are you doing in my bed?"

"Training!" Wood said, covering his nose and speaking in a muffled voice.

"Harry, Slytherin now has seven Nimbus 2001! We can't delay any longer; we must make up for the equipment gap through hard work and skill!"

"Have you forgotten? We could have won the championship last year, it's all because you were in a coma..."

Harry's dissatisfaction was instantly replaced by guilt; after all, he had been in a coma in bed last year.

Gryffindor suffered their worst defeat in three hundred years, and he immediately got up and started searching for his Quidditch jersey.

"See you on the field in fifteen minutes, buddy!" Wood said, then hurried off to find the other players.

The Geminis were fine; they woke up easily when called. But the three female Chaser were a problem.

Wood squatted like a pervert at the entrance of the girls' dormitory, and when a student finally came, he scared her so much that she screamed.

It took a tremendous amount of effort to prove that he wasn't a scoundrel.

Fifteen minutes later, Harry finally managed to shake off Colin's entanglement and rushed to the Quidditch Pitch dressing room.

Fred and George were dozing off together, their heads nodding off.

Spinnet was fast asleep, pressed against the wall, when Wood came in and his loud voice barely woke them up.

But the tactics Wood then explained became a lullaby, and it wasn't until everyone arrived at the training ground and was hit by a cold wind that they were fully awakened.

"Where did that clicking sound come from?" Fred shouted suddenly after circling the court a few times.

Then I saw Colin holding up his camera, snapping photos non-stop.

"Who is he?" Wood over, frowning as he stared at Colin. "Why is he taking pictures here? Is he a Slytherin spy?"

"He's a freshman in Gryffindor, Colin," Harry quickly explained.

"Slytherin doesn't need spies." George shrugged.

"How did you know?" Wood asked, puzzled.

"Because they're already here," Fred said, pointing to the stadium entrance.

Several people wearing green team robes walked in, each carrying a brand-new Flying Broomstick; it was the Slytherin Quidditch Team.

Wood angrily led his team to meet them, pointing his finger at Marcus Flint.

"Marcus Flint! This is our practice time, the field is all booked!"

"The stadium is so big, what's wrong with squeezing in?" Marcus Flint shrugged nonchalantly, deliberately shaking the Nimbus 2001 in his hand.

"I don't mind practicing together; it'll be a good opportunity for you to see the new broom."

The Slytherin Quidditch Team all brandished their brooms.

The gold lettering on the seven Nimbus 2001 shimmered in the morning sunlight, making it difficult for the Gryffindor Quidditch Team to open their eyes.

"Get out!" Wood said, his voice trembling as he suppressed his anger.

"We have Professor McGonagall's approval. It's our training time now, and you're not welcome!"

"A note? What a coincidence!" Marcus Flint laughed, throwing a piece of parchment and slapping it directly at Wood's face.

Wood picked it up and looked at it; it said...

I, Severus Snape, hereby authorize the Slytherin Quidditch Team to practice at the Quidditch Pitch on Saturday for the purpose of training new Seeker.

"The new Seeker?" Wood scanned the Slytherin Quidditch Team, finally settling on Malfoy, who was "gazing deeply" at Harry.

He instantly understood and scoffed, "A young master who got in by donating money? Slytherin is really going backwards."

Malfoy's face instantly darkened, and he retorted in a shrill voice.

"Even if I don't donate brooms, I can still be Seeker! These are just gifts for my teammates!"

That's not an exaggeration; Malfoy's slender build and agility made him a perfect candidate for the Seeker.

She loved flying from a young age, and although her talent was slightly less Harry's, she was already considered one of the top Slytherin students.

The two sides were deadlocked, neither willing to back down.

Just then, a clear voice came from the entrance of the stadium. "First come, first served. Shouldn't Gryffindor use the stadium first?"

Marcus Flint turned around impatiently, but when he saw that it was Hermione, his expression changed instantly, and he forcefully suppressed his anger.

He dared not mess with Hermione; she was one of Riddle's people.

If he dared to say anything unpleasant, he'd be in the Hospital Wing that very night, and even Snape, as the headmaster, couldn't protect him.

After all, Riddle was also from Slytherin, and when he became protective of his own, Snape couldn't get a word in edgewise.

"Granger, we got our approval slip from Professor Snape on the first day of school. In terms of order, we were the first."

Marcus Flint forced a rebuttal, but the Slytherin Quidditch Team behind him, including Malfoy, all took a step back, pushing him to the front to face him alone.

Marcus Flint cursed inwardly: These disloyal bastards!

Wood, not to be outdone, pulled out Professor McGonagall's approval slip. "I applied on the first day too!"

The two approval slips were signed on the same day.

"How about this, half a day for each house?" Hermione tentatively suggested. She had gotten up too early and was just taking a walk in the meadow out of boredom.

While waiting for Tom and Daphne, they stumbled upon the argument and came over to check it out.

She initially thought Slytherin was being unreasonable, but it turned out both sides were in the right, and she couldn't go against her conscience and side with one side.

However, Wood and Marcus Flint both disagreed with this suggestion, neither of them wanting to give up half a day of training time.

"What's all this noise about? It's so lively." Just as the two sides were at an impasse, Tom walked over with the Greengrass sisters.

After hearing Hermione's explanation, Tom chuckled and waved his hand, "What's so difficult about that?"

He glanced at the players on both sides, who were on the verge of exchanging blows, and grinned. "You guys have a fight, and whoever wins gets to use the court."

"Let's fight?"

Everyone stared at Tom as if he were crazy, their faces turning green.

Even one-on-one fights are considered serious disciplinary violations. Last year, Malfoy and Harry got into a fight, and both houses punished them severely.

If the entire team got into a brawl, wouldn't McGonagall and Snape be furious?

"Riddle, don't you have any other tricks?" Marcus Flint was internally trembling with fear, but he still tried to put on a brave face.

"I'm not going to fight a bunch of skinny little girls. If I hurt them, I'll have to pay for it. It's a losing proposition for me."

Wood immediately lost his temper and retorted, "You, a gorilla, dare to pretend to be a wizard with a broken stick? Any freshman who's taken Care of Magical Creatures could take you down!"

"Say it again?"

"Fine, I'll say it, you gorilla!"

Just as the two were about to start fighting, Tom slowly sighed.

"Fine, if you're not happy, then let's find another way: let Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape fight."

"This whole thing was started by the two of them. Whoever wins, their approval document stands."
