Roger Davis was inwardly groaning, but being provoked in public meant that backing down would be a complete loss of face, so he had no choice but to bite the bullet and step into the ring.

Both were top students in their senior year, and their battle rhythm and skills were far more exciting than the previous matches where Malfoy had one-sidedly dominated.

Between fights, they kept revealing each other's secrets, with all sorts of gossip and juicy details constantly being dropped, keeping the audience thoroughly entertained.

Even Professor Ross was captivated, secretly marveling at how interesting his usually reserved student was in private.

Tom was engrossed in watching when he suddenly heard shouts from behind him.

"Riddle!"

He turned around and saw Marietta Edgecombe Eckmer, whose skin was light brown, waving at him, so he walked over.

"Did you need something?"

"That's how it is." Marietta Edgecombe smiled slyly and pointed to Qiu not far away.

"Qiu and I practiced the Disarming Charm for a long time, but we still couldn't grasp the key points and kept making mistakes when casting the spell."

"She was too shy to approach you, an expert, for advice, so she asked me to act as an intermediary."

Tom looked in the direction Tom was looking, and the moment their eyes met, Qiu hurriedly looked away.

She hadn't intended to trouble Tom; it was all her best friend's idea to bring them together. But if she really had to stop it, she secretly felt a little hopeful.

"It's nothing, let's go." Tom smiled and agreed, following Marietta Edgecombe to Autumn.

"Thank you for your help, Tom." Qiu looked flustered.

"It's not a hassle. I don't have anyone to team up with for sparring anyway, so I'm just killing time," Tom said casually.

On the field, Daphne kept a close eye on Astoria, worried that the little girl might get injured during practice.

Hermione, on the other hand, won one victory after another, defeating girls from the second year all the way to the fourth year, leaving the Gryffindor students dejected.

"Don't laugh at my clumsy movements when we practice later," Qiu whispered.

"Don't worry," Tom waved his hand, "Time is limited, let's get started quickly."

Qiu nodded, distanced herself from Marietta Edgecombe, and focused on practicing the Disarming Charm.

Tom stood aside and observed carefully, his gaze lingering on Qiu for a moment.

She has been involved in Quidditch for many years, has a well-proportioned figure, sharp lines, and is full of youthful energy.

Realizing his thoughts had strayed, Tom quickly pulled himself back and focused on examining the spellcasting issue.

"Stop for a second," Tom called out.

Cho returned the wand to Marietta Edgecombe and quickly stepped forward to ask, "Did you figure out what the problem was?"

"The pronunciation and rhythm of the spell were fine, and my mindset was very stable. The main mistake was in my hand movements."

Tom held up his wand to demonstrate, "The initial strike was too forceful, so the finishing flick became a circular motion."

"The movement should be decisive; pull forward smoothly, like this."

He had Marietta Edgecombe demonstrate, and with a casual flick of her wrist, she knocked the wand from his hand.

"Remember the process: first swing the wand, then flick it with the momentum, and finish decisively, imagining that you've directly deflected the opponent's wand."

Qiu listened intently, then turned around and continued practicing in front of Marietta Edgecombe.

Marietta Edgecombe, who was being used as a target, rolled her eyes frequently, silently complaining to herself.

She really went all out for her best friend, so she'll have to make it up to me later.

With Tom's guidance, Qiu's spellcasting success rate improved significantly, but new problems arose.

The spell's trajectory always veers off course; even when aimed at its target, it repeatedly grazes past the opponent's body.

"Your form is still wrong." Tom shook his head. "You need to use your upper arm to drive the forearm, not just rely on your wrist and forearm to swing."

"Talking won't make it clear," Marietta Edgecombe chimed in from the side. "Why don't you just help her correct her posture? That would be much faster."

Qiu secretly glared at her best friend, but didn't refuse. She turned to Tom and asked, "Is this okay?"

"That will definitely save a lot of time." Tom responded and stepped forward, taking Qiu's arm. "You chant the incantation normally, and I'll guide you to find the feeling."

The moment her arm was touched, Qiu's cheeks flushed red, and her head felt dizzy.

It wasn't until Tom spoke up that she snapped out of her daze and instinctively uttered the spell, "Disarming Charm!"

With this close guidance, Qiu quickly mastered the techniques of generating power, and the whole set of movements became smooth and fluid.

After mastering the trick, she progressed exceptionally quickly, and before Ross announced the end of class, she had completely mastered the Disarming Charm.

"Everyone did a great job today. The next dueling open class will be after Halloween. I look forward to seeing everyone's progress. get out of class dismissed!"

As the crowd gradually dispersed, Qiu thanked Tom again, then quickly left with Marietta Edgecombe in her arms.

Many people are destined to toss and turn, unable to sleep tonight.

Qiu's mind kept replaying the scene of their close interaction, and her heart warmed.

Malfoy was also filled with mixed feelings. Although he felt very relieved to have taught Ron a lesson, his duel with Harry had come to an abrupt end.

He also discovered that the other person had Parseltongue, which bothered him greatly.

He comes from a legitimate Pure-blood families, with generations of his family having graduated from Hogwarts. Why is it that Harry, an outsider, possesses such a rare ability?

Even snakes obeyed his commands, which was infuriating. Malfoy gritted his teeth and resolved not to make a mistake in the next duel.

Back in the Gryffindor Tower, Harry was wide awake, still troubled by Parseltongue.

Fred said that those who possess this ability are mostly infamous dark wizards, and almost all of them come from Slytherin.

He recalled his choice based on the Sorting Hat; was he truly inclined towards darkness at heart?

But on second thought, Slytherin aren't all bad people; Tom is a good example.

Considering the recent battles, the Slytherin students are clearly superior in overall strength; even Malfoy was able to easily suppress him and Ron.

He couldn't help but begin to wonder if he had chosen the wrong college back then.

While everyone else was preoccupied with their own thoughts and unable to sleep, Tom had already drifted off to sleep.

Daphne quietly slipped over again and curled up next to him, becoming his body pillow.

Holding the soft, warm girl in his arms, with the faint scent of her bath lingering around his nose, Tom sighed contentedly, feeling completely relaxed and sleeping soundly through the night.

On Saturday morning, Hogwarts was unusually quiet, devoid of its usual hustle and bustle.

The young wizards, who didn't have to rush to class, collectively started to slack off.

I dawdled in bed until after nine o'clock, then, still grumpy from waking up, I dragged myself into the Great Hall for breakfast.

Last night's dueling open class received generally positive reviews, with the only complaint being that it was too short.

A bunch of long-standing personal grudges hadn't had a chance to be settled offline, and everyone was saying they hadn't had enough fun.

But the next Duelling Club won't be until after Halloween.

Countless students secretly complained that such a stress-relieving, hands-on course wasn't a regular program; even one session a week would have been better.

But few people know that the current frequency of once every two weeks is Fawley that Ross- Royce has fought hard for.
