Medicine Can't Be Eaten Too Much

The pot was divided into seven portions, enough for him to use seven times. After dividing them, he unscrewed a bottle, took a deep breath, tilted his head back, and gulped it down.

The sticky liquid stuck in his throat, unable to slide down, like drinking a lump of blood that had been congealed for a long time. He swallowed several times before finally managing to swallow it down.

Tom cursed Andros a hundred times in his heart; this stuff was even worse than the bitter medicine Snape brewed.

Before he could finish complaining, the medicine took effect instantly. His stomach began to heat up, and the heat grew stronger and stronger, like a volcano erupting from his stomach.

The intense heat spread throughout his body, from his stomach to his chest, from his chest to his limbs, and from his limbs to his fingertips. His face flushed red, and wisps of white steam began to rise from his body, condensing into mist in the cold air of the Forbidden Forest.

"Simultaneous actions, quick."

Andros taught him a set of movements: extending his arms, bending over, kicking his legs, and turning around. The movements were very simple, like calisthenics.

But with each movement, the body's heat surges in that direction.

"The principle behind the strengthening potion is to enhance oneself by utilizing the life essence of these higher, Fantastic Beasts. Therefore, it not only strengthens the body but also improves mental strength, lifespan, and other aspects."

Tom was thinking as he performed the actions, "Lifespan? This thing can extend lifespan."

If those old men from the Pure-blood families found out, they'd probably empty Snape's office.

After completing the exercise, the body's heat gradually decreased, from raging fire to lukewarm water, and from lukewarm water to room temperature.

Tom wiped the sweat from his brow, walked to a large tree, and took out his wand.

"Diffindo"

A beam of silver light shot out from the tip of the staff and struck the tree trunk.

The tree instantly shattered into countless pieces, splinters flying everywhere. Tom looked at the fragments on the ground, then at his magic wand.

It's at least twice as powerful as before. Before, when I used the Diffindo to hit this tree, I could only make a hole in it, but now the whole tree is shattered.

"The attacks are even more ferocious now," Andros said with satisfaction.

"Different mental states result in vastly different magical auras. Now that your physical abilities have improved considerably, your magical power will grow at an increasingly rapid pace."

Tom put his wand away. "Another bottle?"

"No, there's still some residual medication in your body. It needs time to digest. You can only take the next dose at least a week later."

Tom checked his inventory: six bottles of potion, one bottle a week, enough to last until the Christmas holidays.

There are still some materials left, but the two main materials, the Sphinx's eyeball and the Dragon Heartstring, are all gone.

His first thought was Snape, but he had taken all two kinds of stock last time, and Snape's cabinet was now empty. If he went to get more, they would even take the bottles.

"Andros, approximately how many bottles would be enough?"

"It will take about twenty or thirty bottles before it stops having any effect."

Tom thought for a moment; he only had six bottles out of twenty or thirty, enough material to make only two more batches.

The remaining gaps will have to be found by ourselves. We'll look for suppliers in Diagon Alley and Knockturn Alley around Christmas.

Room of Requirement, Hermione and Daphne are arguing.

"I saw it through the binoculars; Snape was staring at Harry's broom, muttering something to himself."

Hermione's voice was urgent, and she pointed her finger at Daphne's face.

Daphne's face flushed red. "Why would Professor Snape want to harm Harry? He had no motive!"

The door opened, Tom walked in. The two girls immediately shut up and turned to look at him.

"What are you arguing about?" Tom asked.

Daphne turned around and pointed at Hermione. "Hermione said that Professor Snape secretly used magic to influence Potter's broom!"

Hermione lifted her chin. "I saw it through the binoculars! Professor Quirrell stopped after being hit by the ball, and Harry immediately regained control of his broom and even caught the Golden Snitch!"

Tom put down his schoolbag, nodded thoughtfully, and said, "According to you, I also saw Professor Quirrell do the same thing."

"Harry was fine after he was hit by the Bludger, so he's a suspect too, right?"

Hermione was taken aback, her mouth slightly agape. "Quirrell? Does he have that ability?"

Daphne's mouth dropped open. "Quirrell? That stutterer?"

Tom shrugged. "I don't know. I don't care why. Alright, let's not waste time and continue training the Iron Armor Charm."

"This spell is important, more important than finding out who the murderer is."

Hermione opened her mouth, then closed it again. She lowered her head and took out her wand.

Daphne also pulled out her wand.

Tom stood in the center of the field, looking at the two girls. "Begin."

In the library, Harry sat next to Hermione, Hermione told Harry what Tom had said.

Harry immediately shook his head and retorted, "It couldn't be Professor Quirrell! He may be less capable, but he has no grudge against me and has no reason to harm me."

He paused, then comforted Hermione, "I understand Tom's feelings. After all, Snape is his headmaster, and he certainly doesn't want to believe that his headmaster is a bad person."

Hermione, do you know who Nicolas Flamel is?

Harry's curiosity was piqued. What kind of treasure could it be that Albus Dumbledore would guard it so solemnly with Three-headed Dog?

Hermione peeked out from behind the book. "I don't know. I've checked many books, but I can't find it."

Tom emerged from behind the bookshelf, holding a copy of "Introduction to Alchemy." He placed the book on the table and turned to Chapter Three.

He was a milestone figure in the field of alchemy; his greatest achievement was creating the Philosopher's Stone.

"He can use the Philosopher's Stone to create Elixir of Life and gold; he is already over 660 years old this year."

Harry's mouth dropped open. "Over six hundred and sixty years old?"

"Yes. Immortality has indeed been achieved, but the ability to remain young is somewhat lacking."

"Over six hundred years have passed; Nicolas Flamel and his wife are now incredibly old. A gust of wind could easily break their bones."

Daphne peeked over from the side. She had initially been somewhat interested in Nicolas Flamel, but upon hearing "too old to look like," she immediately lost interest.

"Living like an old woman forever, she now feels it would be better to be dead. It's pure torture."

Hermione reminded her, "The ability to create gold is also amazing. With the Philosopher's Stone, we'll never be short of money."

Daphne, uninterested, leaned back in her chair, tracing circles on the table with her finger. "Gold? It's not that rare, is it? My family owns several gold mines; we won't lack gold."

Tom felt as if his stomach had been hit again.

The Greengrass family was extremely wealthy, leaving him no choice but to live off his wife.

Daphne suddenly sat up and grabbed Tom's shoulders with both hands.

She was very strong; Tom's shoulders ached from her grip. Her eyes were bright, but her pupils had shrunk to pinpoints, and her lips were trembling.

"If it can grant immortality, can the Philosopher's Stone cure diseases?"
