The Realm of the Gods, Kami's Palace.
"Son Goku! Son Goku! Can you hear me!"
King Kai's voice exploded directly into the minds of everyone at the palace, laced with unprecedented panic and even cracking at the edges.
On the distant King Kai's Planet, the chubby King Kai was sprinting around the tiny planet while clutching his head, while Bubbles the monkey huddled in a tree, shivering in terror.
"King Kai? What happened?" Son Goku looked up, pressing his fingers to his forehead.
"Big trouble! Massive trouble!" King Kai hopped about in agitation. "That monster who just appeared—his ki is evil to the extreme! This isn't just a crisis for Earth; it's a crisis for the entire galaxy... no, the entire universe! We're all finished!"
King Kai stopped in his tracks, his voice hurried. "He's using Instant Transmission to track your location! Run! You can't possibly win—"
Before King Kai could finish his sentence.
Whoosh—!
A tall, imposing green figure, carrying a pressure as heavy as a mountain, appeared out of thin air directly above the Lookout Plaza.
Ultimate Cell.
He stood with his arms crossed, looking down at the people below. The patterned shell on his back shimmered with an eerie purple glow in the dim light.
BOOM!
Without making a single move, without even powering up, Ultimate Cell merely released a fraction of his aura, and the entire Kami's Palace sank several meters as if struck by a meteorite.
The neatly laid red bricks of the plaza instantly crumbled into dust.
Gravity spiraled completely out of control at that moment.
"Ugh!" Young Gohan couldn't react in time; he slammed onto his knees, his hands braced hard against the ground as the floor groaned under the unbearable weight.
Piccolo's green face twisted, the veins on his forehead bulging as he struggled just to keep from collapsing.
Vegeta gritted his teeth, his eyes bloodshot. His intense pride as the Prince of the Saiyans refused to let him yield; his legs trembled violently, yet he remained standing straight.
Future Trunks fared much the same as Vegeta.
Son Goku, bearing the crushing, almost physical weight, forced himself into a fighting stance. Cold sweat poured down his forehead, but the Saiyan battle intent deep in his eyes flickered wildly.
Far away on King Kai's Planet, King Kai collapsed onto the grass, too terrified to even lift his head, muttering over and over that they were doomed.
The only person in the entire plaza who remained standing and composed was Son Gohan.
He held one hand in front of Young Trunks, shielding him from the brunt of the pressure, his cold, sharp gaze locked onto the Cell hovering in mid-air.
Beep, beep, beep—!
The alarm system inside Android 16's brain went haywire, his eyes locked onto the monster in the sky.
"Energy levels unprecedented..." Android 16's cold, mechanical voice rang out through the deathly silent palace, numb as a death sentence. "One trillion... three trillion... four trillion..."
With every jump in the numbers, the hearts of everyone present sank further.
"Five trillion."
Android 16 announced the final figure.
"This Cell's strength is over a hundred times that of the original Perfect Cell. Probability of victory: zero."
Five trillion!
Although he had mentally prepared himself, the excitement on Son Goku's face was finally replaced by gravity upon hearing the number.
When Son Gohan had transformed into his Legendary Super Saiyan Form earlier, the four trillion battle power he displayed had already felt unfathomable, yet this monster in the sky was significantly stronger than even that!
In mid-air.
Ultimate Cell thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of looking down on them.
He closed his eyes and took a deep breath of the air, which was thick with fear and despair.
Having traveled through countless parallel timelines and devoured countless counterparts, he was long accustomed to the look in a prey's eyes before death. Whether it was Son Goku, Vegeta, or those self-proclaimed warriors of justice, they all eventually wore this same weak, helpless expression before him.
How boring.
Cell opened his crimson eyes, his gaze sweeping over the people below.
"The same familiar lineup again. Son Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo..." Cell's voice was low and magnetic, like an elegant grim reaper calling out a roll.
Finally, his gaze drifted past them, landing on Son Gohan and Young Trunks standing at the very back.
A flicker of obvious surprise crossed Cell's eyes, followed by his lips curling into an extremely cruel arc.
"Oh? How interesting." Cell descended slowly, his feet landing on the shattered stone slabs with a bone-chilling grinding sound. "I didn't expect to run into you two here. And your ki... it's much stronger than I imagined."
Cell met Son Gohan's gaze, his mockery undisguised. "I thought you had been blasted into cosmic dust along with that world, but it turns out you hid in this timeline."
Son Gohan's brow furrowed sharply.
An extremely ominous premonition surged from the depths of his heart.
"What do you mean by that?" Adult Gohan stared at Cell, his aura circulating rapidly within his body, ready to erupt at any moment. "I don't recall ever seeing a bug like you in my timeline."
Although there was a Cell in Son Gohan's timeline, it certainly couldn't be this guy.
"Of course you haven't seen me."
Cell chuckled softly, taking a step forward and walking toward Son Gohan as if he were strolling through his own back garden.
Goku and Vegeta instinctively tried to block his path, but were sent flying by a mere wave of Cell's hand, slamming heavily into the walls of the Lookout Plaza.
Cell stepped past the others and stopped ten paces away from Adult Gohan, his smile filled with malice and playfulness.
"Because when I arrived in your broken, dilapidated future world, the two of you just happened to be gone." Cell spread his hands wide, as if sharing a masterpiece. "But it doesn't matter; I only needed to obtain what I wanted, and that was enough."
Adult Gohan's eyes darkened, and killing intent began to spread around his body.
Cell tilted his head, looking at Adult Gohan and Young Trunks as he spoke to himself. "I dragged the Android 17 and Android 18 of your timeline out and shoved them directly into the me of that timeline, who was still in his first form."
"Watching that foolish version of me evolve into his perfect form, and then..." Cell extended his tongue to lick his lips. "I swallowed him in one gulp. The sensation of that homologous power merging together was truly addictive."
Young Trunks stood behind Gohan, his entire body beginning to tremble. He seemed to have already guessed what would happen next now that such a twisted creature had arrived in their world.
"After devouring myself, I found that world to be far too boring." The smile at the corners of Cell's mouth grew increasingly cruel. "Everywhere was ruins, everywhere were little mice hiding underground, gasping for breath. So, I showed mercy and helped you clean things up a bit."
Adult Gohan's only remaining hand clenched tightly, his knuckles turning white.
"It took me one day." Cell held up a single finger. "Just one day. I drained every living human on that Earth until they were nothing but husks, leaving not a single one behind."
"Oh, that's right."
Cell seemed to suddenly remember something, his gaze piercing straight at Young Trunks.
"Under the ruins of West City, I found a blue-haired woman. She was guarding a tattered machine, holding a useless laser gun in her hand and pointing it at me."
Cell mimicked the scene, raising his hand into the shape of a pistol and aiming it at Young Trunks.
"Pew-pew-pew! Hahaha!"
Cell made the simulated sound of gunfire with his mouth, laughing until his shoulders shook.
BOOM!
The air above the Lookout Plaza instantly detonated.
"Cell! I'll kill you, you animal!!"
Young Trunks' eyes were instantly bloodshot, his purple hair standing on end as his golden aura erupted like a volcanic explosion.
The string of his sanity snapped completely at that moment.
"AAAAAAHHH!!!"
Young Trunks let out a roar like a beast weeping blood. Driven by extreme rage, he broke through the shackles of the Saiyans and stepped into Super Saiyan 2; his hair became sharper than before, and lightning crackled around his body.
His base combat power of 1.5 billion was directly multiplied by the hundredfold boost of Super Saiyan 2, and 150 billion units of violent energy were unleashed without reservation.
He transformed into a blinding golden bolt of lightning, charging toward Ultimate Cell with no regard for his own life.
