A New Beginning

The threat of Majin Buu had been lifted. Earth had returned to peace, but this time, people had a new understanding of what peace meant.

They knew that peace was not something to be taken for granted. Peace was protected by the strong, and by every individual willing to sacrifice for the sake of others.

Mr. Satan was awarded the Peace Medal by the United Nations for his "brave confrontation with Majin Buu." Although he still boasted that he was the one who had "defeated Majin Buu," no one believed him this time. Yet, everyone still respected him, for he had displayed true courage at the most critical moment—not the courage of physical strength, but the courage of the heart.

Videl and Gohan's relationship had grown even closer. The two often trained, studied, and went on dates together. Although Mr. Satan still wasn't particularly fond of Gohan, seeing his daughter's happiness, he slowly began to accept this "nerdy" son-in-law. Goten and Trunks continued their training. The two made a pact that at the next martial arts tournament, they would truly decide a winner and no longer settle for a draw. Krillin resigned from his job as a police officer to become a full-time member of the Earth Guardians. He felt that rather than catching petty criminals, it was better to safeguard the security of the entire planet. Yamcha opened a new gym, and business was booming. He occasionally came to the base to help train newcomers, but he preferred the life of an ordinary person.

Tien Shinhan and Chiaotzu returned to the homeland of the Three-Eyed Clan. They discovered that their ancestral home had been desolate for thousands of years, with only a few ancient ruins remaining. Among the ruins, Tien Shinhan found an ancient text that recorded the origins and history of the Three-Eyed Clan. He decided to stay in his homeland to rebuild the civilization of his people. Kashu and Android 18 bought a plot of land near the base and built a small house. The house was not large, but it was cozy, complete with a flower garden, a vegetable patch, and a swing. Kashu planted many flowers, while Android 18 planted plenty of vegetables. The two lived a semi-secluded life, occasionally hosting visiting friends.

Fat Buu lived with Mr. Satan. Mr. Satan had built him a private room filled with toys and snacks. Every morning, Buu would help Mr. Satan prepare breakfast, and then the two would eat together, watch television, and go for walks. Buu's smile had returned, and it was even more radiant than before.

Goku and Vegeta continued their training. They agreed to duel again in a year to see who was stronger. Although Chi-Chi complained that Goku was always training and neglecting the household, she was actually very proud in her heart—her husband was one of the strongest men on Earth.

Bulma's Capsule Corporation received a massive influx of orders following the Majin Buu incident. Governments all over the world wanted to purchase the corporation's defense systems to prevent similar threats in the future. Bulma made a fortune and upgraded the base with a full set of new equipment. Android 16 continued to patrol various parts of the Earth. He enjoyed this life, seeing different scenery and meeting different people every day. He occasionally encountered minor crimes and dealt with them effortlessly. His presence caused the crime rate to drop significantly, as no one wanted to go up against a robot.

Cell became the chief instructor at the base. He was responsible for training new members, passing on the techniques he had learned in parallel worlds to the younger generation. His teaching methods were strict but not harsh, and he was deeply loved by the trainees. East Supreme Kai returned to the Sacred World of the Kai. He expressed his gratitude to the Earth Guardians and promised to provide assistance when necessary. Before leaving, he glanced at Kashu, a complex look flashing in his eyes. "Kashu," East Supreme Kai said, "you are already a demigod. If you are willing, I can recommend you to become an official Supreme Kai." Kashu shook his head. "No need. I am the leader of the Earth Guardians, and that is enough."

East Supreme Kai nodded. "Then I shall not force you. Take care." He vanished into the light. Kashu stood on the rooftop of the base, watching the sunset. Lazuli walked up from behind and wrapped her arms around his waist. "What are you thinking about?" she asked. "Thinking about the future," Kashu said. "Majin Buu is not the final threat. There are many more powerful beings in the universe. We need to become stronger." "We will," Lazuli said, "together." Kashu turned around and looked into his wife's eyes. Those golden eyes reflected the light of the sunset, beautiful enough to be intoxicating. He lowered his head and kissed her forehead. "Together." The sun set, and the moon rose.

The stars twinkled in the sky; each one was a sun, and each one had its own story. The story of the Earth Guardians continued.
