The Calm Before Dinner

"Alright, stop looking so gloomy. Have you had dinner yet?"

After driving the intruders away, Coleman became much more relaxed.

The flames that had been burning around him disappeared, his skin returned to its normal color, and he was no different from usual.

Apart from his somewhat tattered clothes, Killua couldn't find anything different about his Second Brother.

He's still that same refined scoundrel, that beast in human clothing.

"Ah, I'd like some snacks, or sweet chocolate chip cookies." Killua found a chair, sat down, and started ordering. "And a cola, or an orange soda."

"No," Coleman retorted. "It's dinner time; you should be eating a proper meal."

Desserts should be eaten after meals.

Killua pouted. "Someone who mixes sugar with rice has no right to talk to me like that, you stingy person."

Coleman smiled. "I'm sorry, I'm just that stingy."

As he spoke, he glanced at the two still standing there in a daze and urged them, "Hurry up, or Manster will set off."

That's right, Coleman chose to have his 'little brother' run the errands instead of ordering food from the hotel.

After all, he built this hotel in the middle of nowhere, and who knows, one of the deliverymen might get lost in the forest.

Kurapika was still in shock, somewhat immersed in the thrilling moment that had just passed.

I still can't figure out why things turned out this way.

It wasn't until Killua couldn't sit still any longer and patted him that he suddenly turned around, as if only then noticing that someone was talking to him.

Killua, with his sapphire-blue eyes, asked earnestly, " Gon wants to eat curry, do you want to eat the same as him?"

If we ask again, it will probably be a long time before we can get an answer.

Killua thought lazily for a moment, then blurted out a leading question, "Or beef bibimbap?"

Choose one of the two; he can't wait any longer. He wants dessert. If there are no chocolate butter cookies, a small cake will do.

If he keeps dawdling like this, his Second Brother will become the first Nen to starve to death, won't he?

Out of the corner of his eye, Killua glanced at the smiling white-haired man and snorted.

That silly, worrying second Second Brother of mine.

Although he didn't know anything about curses or anything like that, but...

From the moment he used the power of a curse to save people, this guy probably lost all his strength, right?

Rather than threatening Chrollo with a curse, it's more like a snarling cat trying to scare away a snake that's invading its territory.

All they have is momentum, but their actual strength is completely lacking! (Meow Meow says)

"Ah, whatever, I'm fine with anything." Kurapika's voice was a little hoarse; clearly, he couldn't eat anything right now.

My mind is already filled with images of that group of people.

Seeing this, Killua didn't try to persuade him further, but simply shrugged. "He eats curry, just like Gon."

After ordering from the menu, Manster looked at the person slumped in the chair and asked in a low voice, "The usual?"

"Hmm, no alcohol," Coleman replied casually, fiddling with his lighter. "Freshly squeezed juice, with sugar, please."

Upon hearing this, Manster raised an eyebrow.

This guy's sense of taste is terrible.

No, his head was in bad shape too, otherwise he wouldn't have changed the wine.

Freshly squeezed juice tastes stronger than synthetic juice and isn't very tasty. Even with lots of sugar, it doesn't reach the level of sweetness Coleman usually wants.

But he didn't say much, after all, it was Coleman's own doing, and as a subordinate, he only needed to obey orders.

"You've gotten yourself into trouble. Remember to prepare the paperwork." Manster spoke calmly, a hint of worry flashing in his eyes, but his words were still dripping with sarcasm. "Don't expect me to take over this mess. I'll sell it off in the end."

With such a vast intelligence empire, if Coleman were truly dead, Manster wouldn't have time to deal with this piece of junk.

"Don't worry, someone will take over this place," Coleman said lazily.

Besides, what does "die" even mean? He's clearly just living in a different form.

How can gods die?

How foolish of you, Manster!

Seeing this, Manster said no more, took the 'menu' in his hand, and left.

The extra people left, Coleman remained silent for a moment. He glanced around and noticed that the people around him were staring at him intently.

"Alright, ask away! Let's start with the little orange kitten!"
