These were just some Ha-Ghosts attacking him with weapons. Fighting the Vampires later would be the real challenge. He wanted to make them feel pain by wiping out this batch of Ha-Ghosts!
Every Ha-Ghost killed was one less. A single hit meant certain death, as they were still human, unlike Vampires with their tenacious vitality.
Donnie would rather suffer significant losses himself than let any of the enemy escape. He preferred the enemy to suffer more casualties than him. Not to mention, Donnie's AllSpark meant he could continuously create armies. If one fell, he could create more. He could overwhelm the enemy with sheer numbers!
Donnie wasn't afraid of losses at all!
One Transformer leaped forward, assembling into a massive battle saber mid-air, glinting with a terrifying cold light. It charged through the artillery fire, past Optimus Prime, and plunged into the crowd, slashing left and right, sending blood flying.
The Ha-Ghosts were terrified. A colossal being charging into a formation of flesh and blood—what a horrific massacre! With a single swing of its blade, several people were cut in half, lying on the ground, desperately trying to stuff their intestines and organs back in. They couldn't believe what they were seeing, refusing to accept they'd been dismembered. With their last breaths, they cried out, trying to push their insides back in.
They weren't dead yet, struggling in vain. It was a horrifying scene for many to witness: someone who should be dead, yet wasn't, struggling desperately, only to die anyway.
Some Ha-Ghosts vomited on the spot, trembling so hard they couldn't even hold their guns steady.
They had been trained for combat, but no one had ever trained them on how to truly deal with a giant monster in close quarters.
Some junior officers shouted orders, and despite their fear, their sense of duty compelled them to try and rally the troops. Under their command, many Ha-Ghosts aimed their guns at the Transformer that had charged into their ranks. Bullets flew, artillery roared, and amidst the interwoven firepower, the Transformer was hit and became somewhat disheveled. Every second, large chunks of metal parts were blown off, making it stagger as it walked.
One Ha-Ghost let out a cheer, seeing a glimmer of hope. This metal monster could be shattered.
Donnie quickly showed him how naive that thought was.
The other four Transformers practically became a barrage of gun barrels, each rotating and emitting a death knell. Countless metal shells were fired, destroying bodies one after another. Few were even left intact, their deaths gruesome.
The jubilant Ha-Ghost had its body shattered and could never be revived.
"If you want to kill me, you need to be prepared to be killed by me. This is always a two-way street, and none of you will escape." Donnie stood in the center, raising his arm to block the explosion of a rocket launcher. One Ha-Ghost tried to kill him during his speech but was blocked by Donnie, who then shot it dead with a counter-attack.
Clicking sounds echoed as the metal shield extending from that arm slowly retracted. It was with this that he had blocked the rocket launcher attack. The only cost was that the shield became uneven, requiring only a bit of Spark Energy to repair, or at worst, the damaged parts could be discarded.
This was his combat mode: large Transformers for breakthroughs, Donnie fully armed, with numerous Mini-Transformers ready to be combined at any moment. His battle armor itself was an extremely dangerous killing weapon!
Only now could Donnie be considered an advanced Mutant, truly qualified to call himself The Mechanic!
This was The Mechanic's war mode. Everyone who fought him had to adapt to this mode!
Donnie's Transformers, these war machines, were born for slaughter. Their brutal combat methods were enough to break even seasoned veterans who had fought for half their lives.
The man with glasses was the first to hide behind, shouting furiously into his walkie-talkie, "Bastard, who fired the first shot? Find out and execute them on the spot!" The man with glasses was furious. His role was that of a diplomat, not a fearless warrior charging into battle! He had only come to the battlefield because he was stuffed, and if it weren't for that damned traitor, they wouldn't have reached this point so easily.
Soon, someone informed him that the person had already been killed, their body pulverized, apparently receiving special attention from The Mechanic.
The man with glasses immediately felt a chill in his heart, cursing Donnie as "damn petty," his eyes darting around. He then called over a soldier and ordered him to immediately mobilize nearby armored vehicles and tanks.
"I have the authorization from the Vampire Council to act at my discretion, and I have the signatures of all the council members! I order you to comply with my command immediately. We need stronger firepower to eliminate the freaks on the other side!" the man with glasses said, wanting to use the powerful firepower from tanks and other mobile fortresses to destroy Donnie.
Can you block rocket launchers? Try blocking tanks and armored vehicles. Since the relationship was already broken, they might as well destroy the other side. Did they really think their Ha-Ghost clan was a pushover?
But he was quickly proven wrong.
"Sir, our request has been denied. They said they can't send food to The Mechanic." The soldier explained that some people believed armored vehicles and tanks would only make The Mechanic stronger, and these items could likely be modified by The Mechanic into new, more powerful combat capabilities.
The man with glasses gritted his teeth, feeling a sense of dread.
He wasn't an idiot; there was definitely someone obstructing him from behind the scenes. Someone wanted to watch him die. Ha-Ghosts of his level were qualified to mobilize some covert armed forces.
Over the years, the Vampire Kingdom's influence had extended into all aspects of human society. Many high-ranking humans, while appearing respectable on the surface, were actually members of the Ha-Ghost clan, serving the Vampires.
Mobilizing small units and secretly buying heavy weapons, tanks, and the like was incredibly easy.
But this most reasonable and proper mobilization order he had issued was cleanly rejected, as if someone had been waiting for him to ask for help and then immediately refuse!
"Damn beast, damn Deacon, damn Council!" the man with glasses cursed. If he survived this, he would find those hateful rats sooner or later. He had worked hard for the Vampires for so many years, serving them loyally without any second thoughts, only to end up like this? Had he been abandoned as a pawn?
"You, turn the vehicle around. I'm going to talk to them personally. I'm going to use even stronger firepower to destroy the enemy!"
The man with glasses shouted at the driver, some of his panic compelling him to order the driver to flee. The driver hesitated, his fear of Donnie driving him to obey. He quickly turned the steering wheel and drove away to escape.
Donnie continued his slaughter. Every second, Ha-Ghosts fell with screams. Although parts were occasionally seen flying off, Donnie didn't care about these losses at all. He wanted to annihilate these hateful lackeys.
Kill one, fewer one. It was better to act than to let them go. This was Donnie's philosophy: no matter how small the enemy, if they were an enemy, kill them if you could.
He was no longer naive. This was a world where people truly ate people.
