This Guy is Really Annoying

Donnie stared expressionlessly at the guy who suddenly appeared. How should he put it, this silver-haired guy's first impression on him was... quite annoying...

"Who the hell are you?" Donnie asked, feigning ignorance.

He knew of only two speed ability users who might appear now. One was the pseudo-Flash hiding in that small town in the center, still meticulously plotting and scheming to create the real Flash, Barry Allen, ahead of time, so he could help him return to his own era. The other was Magneto's kid, who was rumored to have a very wild personality.

"You, come down here. You'll follow me from now on. Although it's the old man's order, I find you quite pleasing to the eye, so I'll reluctantly accept you. Also, my nickname is Quicksilver, you don't need to know my name." Quicksilver was arrogant. He stood with his arms crossed, looking down at Donnie, speaking reluctantly as if taking Donnie as a subordinate was a great burden.

Donnie immediately jumped onto Optimus Prime's shoulder, looking down at this unruly kid from a height. Because the guy in front of him always had his arms crossed, his chin held so high it was almost parallel to the horizon, coupled with his sidelong glance, Donnie always felt like he was the one being looked down upon.

Quicksilver seemed to possess a magical ability; he always managed to make others feel despised by him.

"Such an arrogant guy, even more arrogant than me. Are all of Magneto's kids this annoying... By the way, if you keep looking at me like that, I'll beat you up, believe it or not?" Donnie's veins bulged. He felt extremely uncomfortable under that strange gaze. He always felt incredibly small under this peculiar attention and couldn't help but want to punch someone.

That posture, that gaze, Quicksilver's ability to act this way was truly remarkable.

Quicksilver held his chin high, trying his best not to look at the scattered limbs and severed arms around him. The smell of blood lingering in his nostrils almost made him vomit. He forcefully suppressed his discomfort, changing from crossing his arms to placing them on his hips, tilting his head even higher.

"You've got the wrong person. What 'Magneto's kid'? I don't belong to anyone. Besides, you can't hit me." Quicksilver's eyelids twitched. He urged Donnie to leave with him quickly, to enjoy good food and drink, and not to stay in this disgusting place.

Donnie's veins bulged: "What's the point of changing to hands on your hips? That's not the main point I'm making!"

Quicksilver switched back to crossing his arms, continuing to look at Donnie askance, his head almost tilting back to his spine, truly looking down at Donnie through his nostrils. He kept urging Donnie to leave with him, threatening to tie Donnie up if he didn't act soon.

"You're no match for me. You can't keep up with my speed at all. I'll tie you up before you can even make a move." Quicksilver's peripheral vision caught sight of a corpse, and his face instantly turned pale. He felt like the food he had eaten hours ago was coming back up his throat, desperately wanting to be vomited out.

Donnie rubbed his chin, sizing up this rare speed ability user among the mutants, especially watching him struggle to adapt to the battlefield, and let out a cold laugh.

"How many fights have you actually been in? Magneto sending you to find me clearly means he wants me to train you, at least let you see some blood... How old are you? Are you an adult yet? If you're not, hurry back and play video games. Why are you meddling in things randomly?"

Donnie muttered continuously, loudly blaming Magneto for being unfair. If he was going to send a helper, he should have sent a warrior, not a baby. After speaking, Donnie looked at Quicksilver askance.

Quicksilver's expression changed. Donnie's words had struck a nerve; this was his sensitive spot. This reclusive and arrogant young man couldn't handle humiliation.

It was true that he and his only sister were Magneto's children. However, before they were born, their birth mother, filled with immense fear of Magneto's power during her pregnancy, ran away from home. She later gave birth to them and entrusted them to the Romani couple, the Maximovs, for adoption. It wasn't until recently that Magneto found them, but Magneto never acknowledged them, whether he didn't recognize them or recognized them but didn't say anything.

For the past few years, Quicksilver and his sister had been following Magneto, even clashing with the X-Men and S.H.I.E.L.D. multiple times. However, this kind brother and sister had never harmed anyone, and for this reason, they were repeatedly subjected to harsh punishments by Magneto.

Just a few days ago, Quicksilver's sister was curious about why Magneto never took off his helmet. She secretly snuck into Magneto's room and saw a photograph. It was of their birth father and mother, Magneto and Magda.

The truth became clear. They immediately ran to question Magneto, but Magneto remained noncommittal, never giving a direct answer.

Quicksilver felt that Magneto had recognized them long ago and had specifically sought them out. Quicksilver had always kept this matter in his heart, brooding over it. This was his forbidden zone and sensitive spot; no one could touch it.

Not to mention Donnie constantly shouting that he was Magneto's child, which deeply hurt him.

Magneto, their biological father, didn't acknowledge his long-lost children, yet Donnie, an outsider, kept insisting on their father-son relationship!

How ridiculous and ironic!

Quicksilver roared. He was truly enraged. He wanted to teach this bastard Donnie a lesson and let him know that some things couldn't be said.

With a soft sound, Quicksilver vanished.

Donnie's expression changed drastically. The AllSpark had granted him extremely strong reflexes. The moment Quicksilver disappeared from his spot, his nerves instantly tensed, and his entire body sounded an alarm.

I just called you a baby, and you're going all out for that!

The visual feedback from his eyes to his brain always had that zero-point-something-second reaction time. Although Donnie's reflexes were far beyond those of ordinary people, compared to a speed ability user like Quicksilver, this speed was practically trash.

Zero-point-something-second was enough for Quicksilver to throw dozens of punches and turn Donnie's head into a mess.

In the eyes of ordinary people, at least in the eyes of the glasses man, dense, countless fists appeared in an instant, hitting Donnie without any discernible order. Some punches were heavy, denting Donnie's precious battle armor, truly scaring him shitless.

The Mechanic hadn't looked like this even when facing over a hundred Ha-Ghost Clan members armed with heavy weapons just moments ago!

The glasses man's eyes lit up, filled with both schadenfreude and despair. He saw Donnie getting beaten up and wished the silver-haired youth would kill him. But he was even more desperate; in front of this impossibly fast guy, it would be a miracle if he could escape.

What kind of freaks are these!!! One can create mechanical soldiers, and the other is so fast he's completely invisible! This world is too dangerous, it's not suitable for ordinary civilians like me at all!

The glasses man suddenly felt that his life was a huge tragedy. He had decided that if he survived this, he would immediately retire, find a secluded mountain forest, and live out the rest of his life there.
